Distributor Development Manager (Cebu)

 

The Distributor Development Manager supports the National Distributor Management and Development Manager in strengthening distributor partnerships and ensuring compliance with JTI requirements. The role drives revenue growth by integrating financial strategies into distributor management. It also collaborates with CBUs to identify risks and opportunities for business growth.

 

As the DDM in the area of Cebu, you will: 

 

  • Be responsible for Distributor Delivery Partners (DDPs) by ensuring timely shipments, tracking performance, and maintaining strong partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to drive distributor growth, increase sales performance, and optimize market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to expand distribution networks, optimize territories, and share standard processes.
  • Ensure adherence to JTI requirements, supervise trade accounts, and validate distributor claims.
  • Assess distributor profitability, implement performance measures, and support financial targets.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient distributor operations and business growth.

 

Who are we looking for:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or higher in Business Management, or any related field.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of dynamic experience in the FMCG industry, with proven experience in Sales and Distributor Management, Financial and Operations Management, and partner management. Knowledge of common Route-to-Market models in the Philippines is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
  • Technical Skills: Strong discernment with numerical literacy, account and relationship management, and knowledge of finance and control systems.
  • Other Skills: Advanced communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; critical thinking; change and project management; analytical skills; ability to get results and adapt to change; proficiency in modern data tools; and advanced Excel skills.
