New Product Development Specialist - Temporary

The NPD Team plans and manages NPD projects according to company policy, annual plans, and market requirements, considering global and local regulations to advance JTI products. The incumbent will manage NPD projects for the assigned market, focusing on packaging, product changes, new formats, cost planning, Limited Edition Packs, and new product introductions, while coordinating with R&D, Global Supply Chain, and Marketing & Sales to ensure timely and budget-compliant implementation.

As the NPD Specialist in GBS Manila, you will:

• Execute NPD projects related to product and packaging changes within the PLM system, coordinating with stakeholders, tracking progress, and providing status updates. Prepare preliminary info, coordinate bar-code assignments, lead kick-off meetings, and track lead-times for various project steps.

• Manage the end-to-end NPD process, ensuring timely execution and tracking project timelines. Coordinate NPD meetings, update related data, and manage MyJTI workflow, keeping key stakeholders informed of any delays or issues.

• Take responsibility for PLM-related questions, support assigned markets, deliver system/process updates to users, and communicate with the PLM Governance Team on related issues.

• Coordinate Production Designs and track layout revisions per JTI Design Guide and Market requirements, support Brand Groups with Market simulations, and conduct follow-throughs during Barrel Proofs, Color matching, and Quality Releases.

• Take part in the ASP portfolio collection process by supporting and providing related activities to the assigned markets.

• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

Requirements:

• Bachelor / University Degree in Management, Statistics or Engineering, or equivalent. Must have business & marketing background.
• 3 years of proven experience in FMCG in New Product Development (NPD), Marketing or project management roles, with proven track record in cross-functional projects. In-depth understanding of overall JTI NPD (New product development) process and PLM system is essential. Required strong experience and knowledge of packaging and product development. Must have expertise in SAP, PLM and other similar systems.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• MS Office advanced, PLM (product lifecycle management). Good interpersonal and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and providing NPD expert advice. Strong communication skills
