RRP Trade Activation Manager Croatia


 
What this position is about – Purpose:
 

Support the introduction and development of RRP brands in the Croatian market. The role entails creating and implementing the Trade Activation strategy, including online and offline activities, as well as recruiting and handling brand ambassador personnel. Additionally, responsibilities include opening and maintaining JTI-owned retail outlets and collaborating with the local sales team and the cluster RRP Adriatica team to increase market share and sales volumes of the RRP portfolio in Croatia.


What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement Trade Activation programs to enhance RRP brand awareness and engagement among trade staff, driving trial through B2B2C initiatives.
  • Collaborate with digital and IT teams to establish and maintain an effective digital ecosystem.
  • Prepare trade activation program content, handle giveaways, PPOSM, and digital content alignment.
  • Select relevant visual support for the brand in collaboration with the RRP Adriatica team.
  • Partner with local and regional agencies to implement trade marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate program details and goals to local teams regularly for smooth implementation.
  • Collaborate with the RRP Adriatica team to develop own retail concepts, including design, placement, and budget, aiming to enhance brand awareness and trial.
  • Manage store performance, propose actions to increase consumer attraction, and develop tactical programs.
  • Recruit and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors to increase RRP product sales through effective communication.
  • Allocate and supervise RRP market budget meticulously, making real-time adjustments and recommending changes with supporting data.
  • Develop and implement various reports covering cluster management, budget, competitor activity, and digital issues.
  • Support RRP portfolio development by collaborating with the local sales team and assisting in introducing new product portfolios to the market.

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • Proven track record in handling complex projects involving multiple internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and project management abilities.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in marketing and sales functions, preferably in the tobacco industry. Knowledge of the HTS category will be advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
