The Modern Trade Channel continues to grow and play a significant role for the JTI business. With the growing importance it will require an incumbent to support the KA Manager in developing Modern Trade Channel growth Strategies and handling DSO operations with KA retailers. 



  • Account Management
    • Work with KA Manager and other internal stakeholders to develop strategic account management plan and ensure commercial KPIs are being met
    • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to assigned accounts' concerns and needs
    • Build and strengthen the business relationships with customers to achieve long-term partnerships
  • In-field Executions
    • Ensure proper execution of trade promos, pricing, merchandising standard and new product introduction at the outlet level through the effective use of TME system during regular fieldwork at the trade.
  • Compliance Management
    • Monitor and assess the KA retailers' operations and merchandising standards are in accordance with JTI's aligned agendas and standards
    • Plan and execute the best practices to handle, communicate and engage the relevant stakeholders to drive compliance in KA retailers i.e. pricing, planogram, promotion, process, etc.
  • Budget Management
    • ​​​​​​​Oversee the expenditure tracking of assigned accounts in accordance with the planned budget, commercial agendas and when relevant, propose the budget uilization in case of any major shortfall
    • Track both regular and ad-hoc spendings of assigned accounts on a monthly basis to ensure the planned budget is well-utilized
    • Ensure to follow-up and receive the AP invoices on a timely manner with the accurate amount for each spendings



  • University Degree 
  • At least 1-3 years in any field sales operations or customer/client management or account/B2B management relevant roles.
  • Proficient in English
  • Functional Skills:
    • Has good commercial sense
    • Trade & financial planning skills
    • Brand program development
    • Understanding of direct marketing (incl. consumer relationship marketing)
    • Trade marketing skills and distribution planning to increase distribution efficiency
    • Good knowledge of legislation, external relations, marketing standards in tobacco industry
    • Familiar with MS applications and operations
