Quality Assurance Specialist- Quality Department

We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Quality Department of Xanthi factory to ensure that Quality Management Systems are in place and implemented. Join us in making a significant impact on our customer standards! 

Position: 

 As the Quality Assurance Specialist in the Quality Department, you will:

• Responsible for Material Quality compliance by managing incoming materials inspection, SAP material quality actions, defects reporting, write off records/reports & self-life in order to secure the use of the proper materials in accordance to JTI Standards
• Responsible for the implementation of QMS and ISO Standard, by ensuring that all processes, policies and procedures are in place and documented in accordance with ISO requirements.  Recommends deficiencies where needed and supports re-certification Audits
• Coordinates Corrective & Preventive actions analysis upon Product defects in cooperation with Production and other departments, to ensure Product Quality Standards
• Manages products sampling plan by initiating monthly sampling program following production plan. Monitors the daily sampling status, SAP sampling actions & Quality warehouse inventory. Ensures accurate samples dispatching in cooperation with local & global relevant functions
• Coordinates and follows up Quality Assurance Trials related Materials and Products in close cooperation with Production and other relevant parties as well as coordinating approval and qualification tests of Materials & finished goods
• Evaluates and determines improvement needs by organizing and providing Quality Assurance trainings to Quality and Production employees

Requirements: 

• University or Technical Bachelor's degree preferably on Technology or Engineering or related sciences studies
• Working experience in a similar Department or in tobacco industry will be considered as an asset.
• Advanced oral and written knowledge of English & Greek language
• Computer skills – Good knowledge of MS Office
• SAP knowledge will be considered as an asset
• Dynamic & strong character with good interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for problem-solving, communication skills, effective presentation of reports, facilitation of meetings and trainings
