Job Summary


As IT Data Solutions Analyst, you will support the continuation of the development and maintenance of data transformations and in-house applications.  Operating within the UK market, you will be providing service to local business stakeholders supporting them by maintaining in-house applications, the underlying technology and act as an internal customer liaison.  You will also work with Global teams to ensure timely and accurate data transformations between UK Market applications, global applications and e-commerce solutions implementing any changes or improvements that are required.  You will have ownership and responsibility for assigned systems covering the delivery, change management, support and any incidents. You will be the key contact for the support provided to the applications team, internal customers and at times third party stakeholders. 




  • Design and build data migration and transformation systems to schedules required by the business while delivering timely, accurate and automated (where appropriate) data.  
  • Take all necessary steps to minimize delivery failure and provide detailed information when failures occur.  Update IT management and customers regularly on issue resolution.
  • Implement any modifications or upgrades to the data interfaces necessary to support the market and deliver continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and support existing in-house developed applications ensuring they are both functional and relevant to business requirements.  
  • Maintain knowledge of current technologies utilized to deliver applications and data to the UK market and plan and deliver their upgrades to ensure support is maintained.
  • Ensure all Applications follow the corporate policy and guidelines and are listed and updated in relation to Applications Portfolio. Actively engage with IT counterparts within the Regional Team to ascertain and align on demand planning for new applications. Ensure all related compliance-related tasks are completed in a timely manner.


The Team


The UK Applications is made up of a team of five but is also part of a wider close and cohesive IT team from UK & Ireland of twelve, who work in a fast-paced, busy environment working with local and global internal stakeholders as well as consultants. A trusted team within the organization offering support, guidance and development of internal applications and data transformations.


The Skills you’ll need


  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in IT system management with a Microsoft background
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS Visual Basic and/or C#.Net (qualifications preferred)
  • Experience of Azure Power Apps/Functions in the field of data transformation will be of benefit
  • A good understanding of Business Process and how systems can deliver efficiencies 
  • A good understanding of legal obligations and clarity
  • To be inquisitive and good at problem-solving to succeed and find the best solution
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and deliver timely solutions
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • The ability and willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
