Credit & Collection Associate
As a Credit and Collection Associate, reporting to the Credit and Collection Team Lead in the GBS O2C team in Poland, you will handle cash allocations, collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Team for accurate cash applications, and ensure timely collection on past-due accounts. You will handle the release of blocked sales orders, work with the Sales and Customer Service departments to resolve discrepancies, and support reporting, reconciliations, and audits. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with accounting policies, assist in customer risk assessments, and handle other ad hoc tasks as needed.
Position:
The Credit and Collection Associate will be responsible for:
- Cash application and account reconciliation
- Support month-end activities (incl. aged debtors, cash discounts, bad debt, provision, DSO, etc.)
- Master data maintenance
- Support resolution of client-specific queries
- Support JSOX controls and Audit
- Sundry invoice and credit notes
- Maintain a high level of service with all business partners (e.g. Customers, AR, Group Treasury, Finance, Legal, Sales, Customer Service, etc.)
Within 12 months you will:

Requirements:
- We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Credit and Collection Associate who brings the right mindset and at least one year of accounting experience or a postgraduate qualification
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance (preferred)
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- A solid understanding of IT systems (experience with SAP is a plus)
- A persistent, 'can-do' attitude with a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems efficiently
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
- A true team player with a collaborative mindset
- Customer-focused with a drive to deliver exceptional service
