Commercial Planning Manager

 

 

The main purpose of the role is to lead and optimize the Commercial Planning team across five key business areas, develop long-term investment strategies for multiple sales channels, manage budgets, and ensure cross-departmental collaboration for effective project execution

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • effective and efficient leading the Commercial Planning team in five business areas:
    • Sales Cycle Planning,
    • Short and Long-term Investments and Analysis,
    • Merchandising & Digitization,
    • Digital Sales Solutions,
    • B2B Digital Projects,
  • overseeing the preparation of a long-term, comprehensive investment strategy for JTI brands in all subordinate sales channels:  traditional (TT - traditional trade), modern (KA - Key Account), wholesale (WHS - wholesale) and B2B digital channel (JTI Go platform) in order to provide JTI's field sales force with the appropriate marketing tools to achieve annual business objectives,
  • preparing and controlling of the entire budget of the Commercial Planning department and its correct allocation and annual utilization in accordance with the approved ASP plan,
  • working directly with representatives of other departments in the company to ensure an optimal flow of information between these departments as well as to provide key and timely information to Commercial Planning team members, crucial for the implementation of ongoing business projects and the department's mission.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Min. 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in the FMCG industry in a leadership position with an in-house team, directly related to traditional trade (TT), modern trade (KA) and wholesale (WHS) channels and building sales strategy and working with sales force. Experience in trade marketing will be an added value.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively and technically
  • Ability to analyze data, draw logical conclusions and present them
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 environment (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
  • Ability to work under time pressure
