Portfolio and Strategy Expert Global Travel Retail
The role involves working closely with the Portfolio & Strategy Team to maintain the TM1 system and support New Product Development activities between GTR and GBS, ensuring timely, error-free product master data.
You will assist with GTR's Ploom expansion, collaborating with P&S Managers, GBS, Customer Service, Global Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to set up products in SAP and TM1, manage accessory orders, and support New Product Development projects. Additionally, the role will involve helping P&S Managers with ad hoc tasks to shape portfolio strategy, analyze market trends, see opportunities, and recommend portfolio and pricing initiatives to boost profitability and competitiveness.
Position:
The Portfolio and Strategy Expert will:
- Managing SKUs Maintenance Process: Supervise and maintain the GTR SK’s database, ensuring accurate tracking, updates, and management of SKUs across various tools and systems. Regularly update SKU validities in TM1 at Planning Nodes levels. Ensure the portfolio is consistently up to date in the Forecast template. Conduct volume forecast validation checks to maintain data accuracy and stability. Supporting reliable SKU management and operational consistency
- Supporting Product and Brand Portfolio Development: Support the planning and coordination of new product and brand launch initiatives by assisting with communication and collaboration across brand groups, brand equity, R&D, and GSC teams to ensure timely launches
- RRP portfolio & development: Supporting GTR's Ploom expansion plans and working in close collaboration with respective P&S Managers. Supporting the team to liaise with GBS, Customer Service, GSC, and GTR Logistics to ensure proper products are set up at all levels (SAP, TM1, etc.). Assisting as well with accessories ordering management and preparation for respective TR markets
- Commercial and Financial Planning Collaboration: Assisting in the financial planning process by working closely with GTR Finance and GSC and Commercial Planning forecasts to ensure accurate portfolio planning and reliable IBP upload: removing errors in TM1 at the end of the cycle, supporting in case we have forecast on expired SKUs and checking if the warehouse is well maintained
- Team collaboration: Collaborating closely with GTR Marketing, Sales, and Planning, as well as central Finance, to ensure seamless alignment and integration of all activities. This role is essential to the forecasting process, supporting accurate demand planning and sales strategies that align with market dynamics and brand objectives
Within 12 months you will:

Requirements:
- A university degree preferably in Marketing, or equivalent educational background will be an advantage
- 1-2 years relevant experience in FMCG marketing with cross-cultural experience
- Fluency in the English language both written and verbal
- Commercial and business understanding of FMCG or Tobacco Industry
- Consumer marketing knowledge
- New product launches/development including PLM, will be a plus
- Process/Project management
- Good communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking
- Advanced knowledge of Software and System Skills (Excel, SAP, TM1)
