People Analytics Director

Position purpose:

People Analytics Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic roadmap for JTI People Analytics function to bring it to the next level in line with JTI's People Centricity Strategy.

With the team of subordinates you will advise and influence HR and the business through data-driven insights and compelling storytelling to achieve business objectives and people priorities.

You will enable deep insights supporting stakeholders, organization decisions and key initiatives.This role require building new capabilities not only within People Analytics, but within JTI People & Culture global community. 

What will you do – responsibilities:


•  Actively engage with People & Culture (HR) community and other functions to educate how People Analytics can create value for the company
•  Identify and prioritize People Insights projects in partnership with People & Culture Leaders
•  Develop Consulting and Solution capabilities of the People Analytics Team
•  Ensure Data Quality standards in partnership with GBS and People & Culture 
•  Establish necessary tool infrastructure for People Analytics roadmap realization in cooperation with Global IT and Legal departments
•  Ensure Senior Leadership sponsorship of all major analytics projects


Who are we looking for – requirements:


  • Professional experience in leading teams in using analytical methods to solve business problems and drive improved decision-making with impactful people and/or business outcomes
  • Professional experience in leading global projects with impact on the entire organization
  • In-depth experience with solutions involving data, business intelligence, and analytical technologies preferred (e.g. Excel, PowerBI)
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Business Analytics, Economics, or Finance. MA/MS/MBA/ preferred OR equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in leading team of subordinates
  • HR experience would be an advantage, but not a must  
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
