                  Platform Architekture&Operations Manager

 

About the position:

The ServiceNow Platform Architecture & Operations Manager is a global strategic position in the Global Development Center, responsible for the ServiceNow platform governance and architecture, definition of global ServiceNow Platform standards and guidelines. 
He/she performs architecture design reviews and advisory for major ServiceNow projects to ensure adherence to the standards for all ServiceNow developments. 

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

  • ServiceNow Platform governance and architecture:
    Define and communicate ServiceNow Platform global standards and guidelines, including 
    DevOps, Integration, User experience and Platform security standards, landscape and upgrade strategies, specifications and documentation standards, etc. 
    Perform archtitecture design reviews and advisory for major ServiceNow projects to ensure adherence to the standards by all ServiceNow developers
    Lead the Technical Architecture Board to establish technical & architecture standards and act as a decision authority for platform landscape / solution designs
    Actively contribute to the Operational Governance Committees representive an authority for platform architecture decisions
  • Drive technology innovations and expansion of JTI ServiceNow capabilities:
    Proactively analyze technology trends & JTI business demand to identify upcoming opportunities
    Maintain a high level of expertise through learning, conferences, customer focus groups, etc.
    Lead/participate in the assessment of new solutions, technologies, standards, and frameworks
    Ensure that the introduction of new standards and solutions is in line with the JTI strategy and with the existing standards
  • Define ServiceNow Project Delivery standards and ways of working:
    Define, maintain and communicate to the relevant stakeholders the key procedures, like release strategy, cutover and rehearsal plans, quality gates, testing, data governance, and operational support standards, etc.
    Onboarding for new Teams and Project Managers in the scope of the Releases
    Actively share and communicate the updates on ServiceNow Program and Platform to key stakeholders including senior management
  • Stakeholder Management & communication: 
    Keep the strong relationship with the key stakeholders, provides regular updates and deliver presentations to the IT management team
    Build trustful relationships with ServiceNow as the JTI's strategic partner

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • University degree in IT or equivalent
  • 5+ years of IT working experience in multinational companies (development and business applications)
  • 5+ years of experience as a member of ServiceNow implementations, including business requirements gathering, development, testing, and cutovers
  • 2+ years as ServiceNow Platform Architect or similar, including strong experience with Platform governance, DevOps and integration technologies.
  • Team leader experience is a plus
