Market Intelligence Analyst


What this position is about - Purpose:


As part of the Market Intelligence team you will work closely with Brand Marketing to provide important data for strategic decision-making — including insights into the market, customers and competitors. The team is responsible for strategic data and information including market trend analysis. The major goal behind the position is to support strategic planning activities by providing actionable recommendations based on assessments of markets and competitors.


What will you do - Responsibilities:


  • Market intelligence: market analysis, developing recommendations and preparing reports to support business decisions
  • Monitoring Polish and Global tobacco market and competition activities
  • Management of retail trade surveys (Nielsen, CMR) and data reporting system based on BI solutions
  • Development and optimization of data reporting system in response to the needs of key stakeholders
  • Supporting Strategic Planning & Insights department in current projects

Who are we looking for - Requirements:


  • Highly developed analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Experience in data analysis and preparation of business recommendations – at least 1 year
  • Curiosity, inquisitiveness and ability to combine knowledge from various sources
  • Accuracy, meticulousness and quality-oriented attitude to everyday work
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Very good knowledge of English & Polish
  • At least basic knowledge of MS SQL (building queries, ability to join tables, working on views, updating tables)
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence class tools (e.g. Power BI) and statistical programs (R/Python) will be an additional advantage
