Financial Planning & Analysis Expert Global Travel Retail
 

What this role is about?

This position provides support to the FP&A central team of Global Travel Retail. It covers all the business related to Travel Retail sales in the world. The position works with people located in different regions of the world, working for different functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance). The level of responsibility can grow with the person, with a focus on business planning tasks, ownership of the finance system and update of reports at each month end close.

 

What will you do?

  • Provide support in financial planning (rolling forecast and 3-year plan):
    • Support markets in planning process
    • Own the planning of some line items (COGS, non-HR opex)
    • Consolidate, review Duty Free forecasts and analyze inputs
    • Ensure timely and accurate data submission to the region and corporate finance
  • TM1 (performance planning system) super-user:
    • Maintain dynamic reports
    • Support all TM1 users
    • Coordinate between business requests and IT team
  • Closing activities: manage actual postings, reclasses, corrections, etc
  • Analyze and monitor actuals:
    • Alert of any deviation and coordinate any required correction
    • Prepare reporting
  • Other ad hoc activities:
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the FP&A Manager and Finance Director
    • Ensure Global Travel Retail data integrity throughout various local & corporate systems
    • Administer Purchase Request and Good Receipts for the finance department

 

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent commercial degree, accounting qualification is a plus
  • At least 3 years working experience in finance with exposure to system support or advanced user experience
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (data analysis, data integrity, interface between systems)
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Excellent PC skills, especially Excel
  • Experience in accounting systems and financial planning models (understanding of accrual based accounting), experience with SAP and TM1 is a plus
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
