FINANCE ENTITY ACCOUNTING & REPORTING SENIOR SPECIALIST

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: 

Entity Accounting and Reporting Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting Finance and FP&A local teams in accounting, reporting and FP&A areas to have all data accurate.  At the same time Specialist collaborates with other team members and stakeholders from different teams and takes part in meetings as well as projects assigned to the team. Supports Expert if needed and acts as an Expert's backup.

 

What will you do – responsibilities: 

 

1. IFRS and Statutory accounting and reporting, entity planning

Ownership of GBS R2R processes from the data collection to analysis to posting initiation and reporting in the area of General Ledger (IFRS and Statutory accounting and reporting, entity planning)

Preparation of draft IFRS and Statutory reporting timely and in accordance with the IFRS and Local Accounting legislation

Perform key account balances reconciliations such as accruals, accounts payables, prepayments, fixed assets, intangibles and intercompany balances

Maintain detailed GBS transactional documentation (IFRS, Statutory requirements) for the market in charge and update it to ensure Core Services are executed in line with Corporate and market local accounting requirements

 

2. Audit support

Support internal and external audits.

 

3. JSOX Control

Execute and Support JSOX controls and document evidence accordingly

 

4. Projects support

Support on Process Improvement initiatives.This requires working with various business partners within and outside GBS.

Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 

 

Who are we looking for – requirements:

 

  • University degree, preferably specializing in economics, finance, or accounting with a strong knowledge of IFRS and any other statutory/local GAAP.
  • Min 2 years work experience in GL/RTR area, with experience in preparation of Financial Statements (must) and in a multinational working environment. 
    Experience in FP&A basic activities, primarily cost planning, is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is essential, other language is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication skills, strong personality, team player and business partner to operations.
  • High integrity and ability to work with different cultures.
