Business Technology Services (BTS) Associate

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose:

 

In this role, you will act as a trusted partner, and support the daily operations and effective performance of the business solution (application/support maintenance). You will resolve minor and complex incidents and change/service requests, and deliver timely & quality solutions to the users while at the same time ensuring that they utilize the full application potential. Your main customers are Corporate Affairs & Communications, Legal & Regulatory Affairs functions.

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

Operations (Business process/system changes requests)

  • Provide application support for both Production and Development through the resolution of minor and complex incidents & change/service request (investigate technical solution, perform testing, confirm solution to the user, maintain necessary documentation on the request)
  • Providing input to the operational BTS procedures to enhance service to customers

 

Minor/standard enhancements/projects

  • Assist senior team members in the analysis of the feasibility of business requests in the context of the standard application solution; analyze the impact of this requirement on the Global Reference Model (global versus local)
  • Coordinate and conduct application testing (new support packages, releases, functionality and customizing) in close cooperation with quality assurance and technical team 

 

Knowledge management

  • Keep the End Users up-to-date and knowledgeable of the systems and business processes/best practices
  • Maintain the solution database by creating knowledge base articles and getting them validated by the appropriate Expert

 

Process Documentation

  • Working together with power users on documenting the processes from a business perspective, and with the project team and the process/business Expert on documenting the processes from a technical perspective
  • Ensure QA on the documentation executed by development teams

 

Performance management

  • Monitor performance and effectiveness of specific business processes in close cooperation with technical team
  • Together with other Business Intelligence groups assess master data and reporting requirements for key users in your area of responsibility

 

Who are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • We trust that 2-4 years of experience with collaboration tools such as Sharepoint, Teams and Workplace, and other SaaS off-the-shelf technologies will set you up for success (preferably in the areas of application support and customer service in a global and multicultural environment)
  • Your process orientation, analytical nature and detail orientation help you in finding and implementing the best solution for your customers’ needs
  • Great communication makes you successful in managing diverse stakeholders
  • You are proactive in identifying possible improvements and opportunities
  • We work in English
  • University degree
