SALES – Sales Manager
The Sales Manager contributes of Sales results achievement in its respective Area in terms of volume, distribution and market share and other commercial KPIs in all JTI categories in which JTI is/will be present.
Provides direction, leadership and coaching to the Trade Marketers sharing bottom up and top down all necessary information to ensure a proper alignment between common strategic goals and Field Force specific geographical needs.
As Area Manager, you will:
- Leads the appropriate implementation of Area Sales plan and the achievement of assigned targets and objectives (volumes, distribution, market share, visibility, budget, costs, ROO, and other commercial KPIs) identifying business opportunities;
- Proposes specific Plan input for the assigned Area by determining action plans, modalities and priorities, targets and budget allocation;
- Works with Trade Marketers in order to facilitate strategy execution, goals achievements and keep a competitive position in the tobacco market;
- Data analysis, forecasting and data interpretation for the Area in order to drive Trade Marketers efforts identifying priorities, budget allocation and corrective actions;
- Manages the efficient and optimum allocation and planning of trade engagement tools aimed to support trade partnership and JTI product availability and visibility;
- Ensures an adequate administrative management of activities (budget, administrative processes related to investments) and a bottom-up reporting of field information;
- Contributes to increase Trade Marketers skills through training on the job during periodic coaching and constant sharing of best practices. In line with the guidelines defined by the role and the limits imposed by the Labor Law Doctrine and Agents Contract;
Requirements:
- University degree (Business Economics)
- Experience (at least 4/5 years) in a Sales and Marketing functions in FMCG sector
- Business and commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to build customer relationships and deliver consumer & customer-centric solutions
- Planning, analytical and reporting skills
- Coaching and people management (influence and inspire others)
- Fluency in English.
- 3 to 4 days on the field required
