 Manufacturing Services Manager

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose:

 

As MS Manager you will lead and coordinate activities such as Production planning for Primary and M&P; Production material planning including NPDs,  Logistics and Customer services (including transports), Tax and Customs related topics, in close collaboration with Global Tax, Warehouse operations, with ultimate goal of timely delivery of FG to the relevant Markets. You will closely collaborate with Global functions for a smooth follow-up and implementation of global programs. You will closely monitor and collaborate with internal partners for Tax-related waste process. You will ensure ASP- related activities are performed timely and accurately. You will evaluate their performance and continuously work on their growth.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

Leadership in Planning:
Oversee production planning based on customer requests, ensuring accurate delivery of finished goods and efficient material ordering.

Manage logistics, including import/export and compliance with local legislation.

Monitor inventory levels, material arrival, and production challenges, and coordinate solutions.

Ensure accurate tax-related waste reporting and stay updated on legislative changes.

 

Leadership in Warehouse:
Direct warehouse operations to optimize storage and inventory, complying with legislation and client needs.

Supervise staff efficiency, minimize overtime, and manage inventory counts.

Collaborate with global teams for process improvements and space utilization.

 

Annual Strategic Plan (ASP) Preparation:
Lead ASP activities, including capacity studies, production and material planning, and warehouse utilization.

Set clear department objectives, manage budgeting, and provide input to other departments.

Ensure ASP completion on time and to quality standards.

 

Development of People:
Manage and motivate staff, preparing them for future challenges and potential promotions. Provide guidance, ensure training and information dissemination, and address team workload issues due to unexpected tasks. Support the implementation of new product development (NPD) projects and communicate with stakeholders to meet deadlines.

 

People Management:
Recruit, develop, and guide team members, ensuring safe work practices and compliance with global and local standards.

Conduct appraisals, talent reviews, and identify training needs.

 

Other Responsibilities:
Represent the company professionally, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies.

Manage departmental communications, handle tasks and projects as needed, and maintain a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
 

Who are we looking for - Requirements:

 

  • University Degree
  • 5 years of experience of working in food production, quality in food industry or in the area of planning, procurement, logistics, import/export
  • Experience in Swedish Labor Law & Work Environment
  • Excellent English written and spoken. Swedish would be an advantage
  • Additional languages are beneficial but not required
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office and SAP IBP & BW tools
