Position: Warehouse Supervisor

Reporting: Warehousing Manager

Based in: GSC Tongi Factory.

AB: 22.

Purpose of the Postion…

Effective inventory management, ensure timely replenishment and proper Coordination for shipments. Ensuring a clean, organized warehouse environment, focusing on the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining accurate records adhering to safety protocols.  Ensure documentations related to responsibility are accurately processed, distributed and released to all concerned in a timely manner. Effective collaboration with team and cross functional department for operational excellence. Need to lead the team to embrace challenges.

What Will You Do…

Manage warehouse operations at designated locations to ensure proper handling of materials and finished goods, adhering to company procedures and legal requirements. Coordinate timely availability of materials for production. Ensure accurate processing of customer orders, delivering undamaged goods with complete and compliant documentation.

Ensure timely and accurate inventory counting regularly , maintaining complete and accurate records. Investigate and report inventory discrepancies while providing necessary data to the Finance department. Process goods movement documents promptly and accurately. Ensure adherence of  batch management (FIFO), monitor product ageing (shelf life), and identify obsolete stock. Ensure transaction in  SAP and WMS, coordinating with GSD on related issues. Acquire and share expertise in inventory management, including process updates and best practices.

Investigate and report discrepancies between received goods and delivery notes. Identify, analyze, and document damaged or poor-quality goods. Close collaboration required with associated stakeholders to handle discrepancies. Conduct periodic stock counts to verify actual quantities against recorded figures.

Understanding health and safety aspects of the work, identifying hazards, and implementing necessary control measures to maintain a safe workplace.

Developing competency in safe work practices, attending health and safety training, and adhering to relevant signs, instructions, and warnings.

Complying with legal and JTI health and safety requirements, as well as all applicable rules and procedures.

Exhibiting safe behavior, reporting incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe actions and addressing hazards within the operation.

Lead the team to adhere safety protocols.

We Expect From You…

Academic : Masters /Batchelor's in Business Administration/ Engineering/ Finance/ Supply Chain Management.

Operational Skills: 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, specializing in material handling, storage, and dispatch within warehouse operations.

Language Proficiency: English along with native language

PC Literacy: Proficient in MS Office, SAP and WMS.

People Management: Leading the team while ensuring proper supervision, training, development of team embers.
