People and Culture Manager Israel
About the position:
Reporting to the Country Manager, this role oversees all aspects of People & Culture (P&C) management for Israel. Responsibilities include organizational design, talent acquisition, career development, performance management, training, P&C systems, and personnel administration. The role ensures fair and equitable compensation and benefits practices while upholding professional standards, ethics, and integrity within the P&C function in Israel.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Strategic Support & Compliance
Lead P&C strategies in organizational design, staffing, compensation, training, and succession planning to support business goals. Align global initiatives with local needs, ensure compliance, and monitor effectiveness. - Organizational Development
Optimize structures and resources in collaboration with leaders to align with business objectives and maximize performance. - Talent Management
Develop succession plans, drive employee development, and implement training programs to build organizational capability. - Communication & Planning
Foster a positive work environment, ensure effective communication, and contribute P&C insights to strategic planning processes.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business/Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in P&C management, preferably in an international company; other leadership experience within JTI is also relevant.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP HR is a plus.
- Expertise in talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, labor law, and employer branding.
- Experience implementing EH&S programs and strong business insight.
