Position Purpose

JTI USA is presently seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to join our team for a contract assignment. This position supports the Portfolio Strategy Manager to develop strategic portfolio plans, strategy and tactics to ensure that corporate financial and sales objectives are met. 

 

This position is based in our Teaneck, NJ office.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Portfolio Strategy Manager to build portfolio business strategies for all categories (RMC, OTP, RRP).  Monitor the market dynamics and brand performances to understand the the issues and challenges, propose changes to improve brand performance.
  • Manage the development and execution of all LEPs, insert, onsert, product innovations for all categories (RMC, OTP, RRP)
  • Ensure all brand guidelines are updated based on the market dynamics and performances. Liase with the Consumer and Trade Activation Team and Digital Team to monitor the performance of brand programs, impact on sales and future volume opportunities. 
  • Responsible for portfolio optimization, NTM management, write off management, forecast input to SI and Supply Chain Teams. 
  • Monitor consumer and competitor dynamics in the market, assess the relevance of our portfolio, propose changes to the portfolio mix and pricing. 
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 

 

Functional Skills

Strong business acumen to understand market dynamics, consumer and trade insight to build effective portfolio plans. Strong time management, people and communication skills. 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3-6 years work experience in Trade &Consumer marketing
  • Fluent English
