WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE

Responsible to successfully oversee and manage the design, development, delivery and implementation of talent development through effective performance management, talent review, succession planning, and talent analytics. Ensures talent development and identification initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by maximizing employee growth strategies with up to date talent programs and enablement. Will serve as the main coach for line leaders to help fulfill the role as a people development champion. 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent Management Strategist
    • Review, realign, and redesign talent strategies based on organization function and strategies 

    • Design and deliver high quality, high impact talent development and design interventions on time and on budget; working with the dynamics of both small and large groups

    • Refine organization-wide Talent Management processes and approaches that will enable the PC Business Partners to proactively manage the needs of the evolving talents

    • Introduce best practices including innovative and practical talent solutions to help drive organization excellence 

  • Talent Chief Insight 
    • Designing appropriate analysis for diagnostics and implementation, analyzing and interpreting ambiguous and complex information and relationships that maximize talent development strategies and insights

    • Governs and monitors progress for talent management projects, issues, risks and deviations; including tracking progress on actions and mitigation of risks

    • Drives the efficiency and effectiveness of the talent management process, including regular process reviews and updates to ensure relevance and alignment to the business environment

    • Monitors the effectiveness of Talent Management programs and interventions, makes recommendations for improvements and drives the realization recommended benefits

  • Performance Management and Succession Enabler
    • Partner with key partners to reimagine performance management to transition from managing performance to enabling performance - employee centric approach to increase contribution in the future vs focusing on what the employee achieved in the past

    • Partner with key stakeholders and solutions providers to ideate performance enabling interventions to increase employee contribution, grow capabilities, empower career, deepen connections, and align rewards / recognition

    • In collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders, deepen existing performance and succession framework

    • Empower people managers to actively coach and support their direct reports in career planning, coaching, and career aspirations / interests. 

  • Others
    • Owns financial administration of budgeting and accounting for talent identification / development, performance intervention activities, and resources 
    • Provide assistance to the P&C Integrated Talent Management Manager and P&C Team when required.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related business degree. Talent Management certification is an advantage.

  • Must have at least 5 years of progressive talent management development, performance management, talent mobility in complex organization with exposure to audience at various levels of the organization.

  • Strong skills in analyzing data to provide insights that diagnose talent risks and opportunities, and measure the effectiveness of interventions.

  • Proven expertise and track record of success in talent development strategies, performance management, project management, and consulting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail to present complex topics in a clear and concise manner to audience at various levels of the organization. 

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook) and intermediate to advanced at Excel.

  • Data Analytics Tools exposure / direct experience (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, Advanced Excel)
