SALES CAPABILITY SPECIALIST

WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

As the Sales Capability Specialist, you will be accountable for developing and implementing sales force training development programs. You will work in close collaboration with Regional Sales Capability Manager, Sales Management team, P&C and in other departments in developing and implementing projects related to effectiveness and efficiencies and implement training evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness and relevance of training programs, including training transfer aspects. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the trainings introduced and conducted and provide support in terms of digitalization and automation of sales processes, projects and other activities.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

1) Capability Development: 

  • Develop training contents based on the needs of his/her area of responsibility
  • Delivers training programs aligned with the strategic company directions                                                
  • Take the lead in implementing training programs initiated by P&C for the field force                                                                  
  • Collaborate with the ASMs in creating developmental plan for the Field Sales Supervisors
  • Cascade and implement JTI projects and directions
  • Track development of KPI achievements to assess regular and consistent trainings & field coaching sessions on salesforce performances
  • Provide support in terms of coaching to the field force
  • Performs fieldwork to identify opportunities in terms of people and process development    

2) Sales Effectiveness

  • Collaborate with the sales, RTM and other departments in creating projects related to operational efficiencies, route management and improvements.     
  • Develop tools to ensure transfer of knowledge to the field force
  • Provide support to ASM during business reviews and in cycle meetings

3) Communications:

  • Collaborate with P&C and Sales Management Team to cascade important communications and projects to the field force related to new projects and directions.      

4) Development and implementation of digital tools: 

  • Provide support in terms of creation and development of digital tools aiming to enhance processes and support sales growth.               
  • Promote and educate the field force in terms of usage of digital tools   

5) Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Periodically assess field force competencies and identify training needs                                                  
  • Regular monitoring of coaching activites and sales performance of field force                                                                  
  • Collaborate with ASMs in creating developmental plan for field force.   

6) Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.     

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Bachelor's degree in any related discipline, supported by substantial experience in the sales function and training

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory or specialist position in sales preferably in multinational FMCG company.

  • Has good understanding of sales processes and best practices in assessing training needs analysis (TNA), developing appropriate programs and implementing sales force trainings 

  • Enjoys a fast pace, dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment

  • Excellent presentation and project management skills

  • Able to deliver results through collaboration and influencing

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 

  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with proven ability to multi-task and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures

  • Field-oriented person

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and data reporting

  • Experienced in training facilitation (classroom and virtual)

  • Skilled in time management and project management
