Position Purpose

IT Business Solutions Analyst duties and responsibilities include providing support to the Taiwan Market IT team in change management and financial administrations. Supports managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. May direct and lead the work of others. Rely on common sense and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented. He/She will enjoy handling multiple responsibilities, typically requiring a quick turnaround. 

 

Responsibility

  • Financial Management – Provide the necessary support to evaluate the IT cost impact of solution(s) to be implemented, including comparative cost-benefit analysis. Provide project budgeting support, ensuring compliance with JTI operating guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Management – Provide the necessary support to select qualified 3rd-party IT suppliers for solution delivery. Coordinate relevant procurement and billing-related tasks, ensuring adherence to Operating Guidelines, policies and procedures, and J-Sox controls. Provide feedback on supplier performance.
  • Business Transformation / Change Management – Support designated business power users to formally raise requisite IT change requests to support business transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with JTI's IT change management process. Ensure that the required pre-alignment is carried out. Conduct an initial assessment and provide timely feedback on potential issues/risks. Responsible for analyzing and implementing subsequent change requests for solution enhancements, as per JTI's IT change management process.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must: University Degree
    Plus: Computer Science, Information Technology or Business education
  • Experienced in Financial administration support for processes such as procurement requests, regular payment, and invoice validation.
  • Experienced in IT software/application discipline, preferably within FMCG or Consulting industry, is a plus.

 

Skills, Competencies & Languages

  • Intermediate in English and Fluency in Mandarin
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written ability.
  • Project implementation experience is a plus.
  • IT customer service experience, including issue reporting system, is a plus.
  • Project and vendor management (PMP certification is a plus).
  • Ability to see the big picture, able to see what’s missing, a person who follows through, and have the willingness to help others.
