The Performance & Reporting Manager acts as a business leader and advisor providing a combination of research and analysis to identify actionable insights that power distinctive points of view and shape GBS growth strategies and decisions.

What will you do?

 

  • Collaborate with Functional Champions and Delivery Teams in developing and harmonizing critical metrics and its definitions, formula, calculation by data sources, including targets, baselines, etc. Create and maintain Metrics Inventory for GBS.
  • Develop reporting methodologies, governance structure, and other performance frameworks for GBS. Continuously challenge KPIs and reporting methodologies to ensure reported metrics are valuable to the business and are always aligned to JTI and GBS's success.
  • In collaboration with the Project Team, gather/analyze/implement critical metrics and reporting requirements of all GBS functions, working closely with IT in developing, testing, and implementing technical structure and reporting dashboards across GBS.
  • Work with IT and System Product Owners to fix data issues, maintain correctness of data, and build efficient database tables to deliver better dashboard performance and user-experience.
  • Conduct and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure accuracy of all data reported in the dashboard. Handle defects and change requests to ensure dashboard is always updated and accurate.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate workshops about critical metrics and reporting to drive awareness about these topics and cultivate a hard-working culture.
  • Prepare and facilitate business reviews and executive presentations covering deep-dive performance insights, market and competitor analysis, industry benchmarking, and other business-relevant information that will provide management a data-driven approach to growing GBS and ensuring its performance levels remain optimal globally.


Who are we looking for?
 

  • Possesses a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, or any post-graduate training and certification
  • ~5 years of practical experience in creating and implementing performance frameworks, KPI development, performance reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, in highly-matrixed organization, with good understanding of shared services and/or BPO industries including its functional areas like Procure-to-Pay, Finance and Accounting, Order-to-Cash, Logistics and Supply Chain, People and Culture (HR), Marketing and Sales, etc.
  • English (written & spoken), Local Language (optional)
  • Deep experience (~5 years) in performance measures, methodologies, tools and reporting.
  • Extensive experience reporting and analytics using any Business Intelligence tools, KPI setting, balanced scorecard, baseline/target setting, data modeling and data visualization.
  • Strong technical proficiency in MS Excel and any Business Intelligence platforms like Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Performance analytics and data storytelling skills and experience. Able to communicate performance results to all levels of the organization through meaningful data storytelling.
  • Sound understanding of Finance (P2P, R2R, O2C, and overall Accounting and Finance) in Global Business Services, Captive Shared Services, or BPO environment.
  • Experience working with IT in providing business and technical requirements for data warehousing and performance reporting automation projects.
  • Proven to be a "Smart Creative" – understands the business while also having strong technical ability to create prototypes and do what is needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build relationships with multiple levels of the organizational structure, including senior level management and executives.
  • Practical knowledge of GBS and/or BPO ways of working.
