Employee Experience Manager
As an Employee Experience Manager at GBS Manila, you will champion initiatives that enhance our organizational culture, strengthen employee engagement, and foster leadership excellence. You will act as a strategic partner to the People and Culture Director and P&C Business Partners for population of GBS Manila and D&IT, ensuring that employee-centric practices are embedded across the employee lifecycle, and that organizational development initiatives support the evolving needs of the business.
As the Employee Experience Manager under the area of People and Culture, you will be doing the following:
- Organizational Development: Design, lead, and implement organizational development strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and cultural alignment towards a "Center of Excellence" mentality via Leadership@JTI. Conduct regular organizational health assessments and propose action plans using the Employee Engagement Survey and Cultural Assessment tool. Facilitate the annual EES, ensuring P&C BPs are equipped to cascade results and facilitate action planning discussions. Lead cultural change towards JTI principles, deploy "Our Way" programs, and design comprehensive onboarding programs, including JTI Basecamp. Partner with leaders to facilitate capability-building efforts by reviewing job descriptions, analyzing managerial development gaps, and proposing programs
- Leadership Development: Design and deliver leadership development programs to nurture emerging leaders and strengthen capabilities at all levels within the Leadership@JTI framework. Lead assessment and development centers, coach managers to align with JTI’s leadership principles, and partner with regional and global People & Culture teams to localize and implement initiatives.
- Talent and Performance Management: Lead the change in Talent Management at JTI with the Growth Compass and Succession planning methodology, including communication and engagement activities. Plan and ensure talent discussions across the organization according to global standards, educating P&C Business Partners and leaders. Supervise and educate leaders on My Goals, My Growth, My Year modules to ensure unified discussions. Handle mediocre and poor performance strategies and educate leaders on conducting difficult conversations in collaboration with P&C Business Partners.
- Employer Branding and Certifications: Lead Top Employers and other local or global certifications for GBS Manila, support the Bright Start traineeship program, and partner with universities for job fairs and targeted talent attraction initiatives.
- P&C Internal Communications and Events: Manage the P&C communications calendar and cycle to ensure effective and purposeful communication, and oversee the channels used. Propose and implement wellbeing and engagement activities, including celebrations and DE&I initiatives.
- People Management: Recruit, empower, and guide the professional development of the team, both direct and indirect reports. Address poor performance and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
- Other tasks: Ensure proper budget control for all activities, plan and report according to JTI's financial standards and policies. Manage discussions with third-party providers, set expectations, review proposals, and secure approval from the P&C Director. Provide precise estimates following the JuneLE, ASP, and OctLE timings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of HR experience, including 3 years in employee engagement, organizational development, or leadership development.
- Extensive experience in Talent Management, L&D, Employee Engagement, People Analytics, and Business Partnership.
- Fluency in English and Tagalog.
- Advanced communication, presentation, and oratorical skills.
- Analytical mindset, particularly in Talent Management and L&D.
- Strong project management, execution, and attention to detail.
- Stakeholder and people management skills.
- Strategic mindset and change management expertise.
