The Consumer Engagement Strategy Manager is the overall lead in the development of consumer engagement strategies for equity-building and CE initiatives aligned with brand priorities for Work (DSA), Live (GT/MT), Play (HRC) and emerging channels in their assigned areas.  CE initiatives include management of Horeca and DSA brand spaces, 121 activations, events, special activations and festival participation in both traditional and non-traditional channels.  The position acts as the single point of contact for a specified area – GMA, Luzon, VisMin.


The incumbent, together with the CE Agile team, will work closely together to design CE toolkits and establish a menu of CE programs which will serve as a guide to support the bottom-up approach of the FM Zone Managers and team in their program planning, execution, and evaluation.  This position will work closely with the Territory Consumer Leads and Consumer Engagement Area Development Specialists who negotiate for opportunities to conduct activation in legal-aged meeting points in the assigned territories and channels.   


The role will entail regular communication and coordination with various functions (ie. brand team, GIP, legal, finance, sales, on-ground FM) to ensure that all consumer engagement related initiatives are within the bounds of the JTI and brand guidelines and marketing campaigns.




Strategic Planning

  • Create overall consumer engagement strategy for equity-building activities for Work (DSA), Leisure (HRC), Live (GT/MT) and emerging channels in the regions/territories based on Brand Plans and broad area consumer insights
  • Plot the region’s consumer journey and path to purchase and ensure handholding of consumers in each touchpoint


Program Creation and Evaluation

  • Spearhead development and calibration of region’s CE Toolkits to guide creation of specific programs while providing analytical support particularly on consumer trends & behavior
  • Lead development of areawide consumer programs and consumer promotions from ideation to cascade and regular monitoring as well as eventual evaluation of the said programs


Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Regularly communicate with different functions i.e., Brand, Legal, SIBI and FM, etc. to ensure inputs provided to the Field Marketing Team and CE Agile Team are updated and relevant
  • Regular alignment with the Field Marketing team to ensure that the ongoing consumer engagement initiatives are relevant and aligned with brand objectives, targeting the right consumers and within the bounds set by the Legal Team


CE SPOC for a specified area (GMA, Luzon or VisMin)

  • Act as single point of contact for the CE Agile Team in the development of new region-specific consumer engagement initiatives (i.e., 121 and regular events) and for major festivals and special activations
  • Consolidate all inputs from the on-ground Field Marketing team on the different consumer engagement initiatives and assist CE Agile Team in crafting new engaging and relevant 121 initiatives


Account Management

  • Lead the Account & Budget Management for both DSA & HRC in their assigned areas
  • Work-with CE Area Development Specialist in identifying priority accounts and maximize our investment via brand visibility, 121 activations and events  
  • Oversee Contracts, Payouts & Fabrication
  • Creation of Consumer-related promotions and programs for these types of accounts


Other Taks

  • Perform other necessary ADHOC tasks that may arise as part of brand/competitive dynamics in assigned areas




  • Bachelor's Degree graduate, preferably of a Marketing / Business / Communications - related courses
  • 6 years professional experience in marketing, brand management, consumer and trade marketing preferably in multinational environment or FMCG company
  • Capable of creating and implementing consumer promotions and merchandising activities
  • Good in project management skills, consumer and agency relationship management skills
  • Possess high-level negotiation skills
  • Highly result-oriented, organized and with good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills - Oral and Written (English, Filipino)
  • Proficient in Windows application.
