WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Overall lead in shaping, executing, overseeing, and evaluating trade engagement activities related to Brand initiated campaigns, as well as HQ initiated channel-development campaigns. Trade Engagement Specialists in the Trade Engagement form an integral part of agile team that collaborate and function on a per project basis. The position is HQ based but may be assigned to other areas depending on the need of the campaign.
Collaborate cross functionally within Trade Engagement, Merchandising, National Field Marketing, Consumer Engagement and Brand, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of trade engagement activities in delivering a holistic and impactful campaign efforts. Should the campaign be HQ driven, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of all cross functional activities into a uniformed field and execution campaign brief.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the development of strategic brand campaigns (HQ drive campaigns) with insights based, trade engagement related activities, that span across planning, execution, oversight, and evaluation. This include other required ad-hoc projects from HQ and/or Zone level.
- Cross functionals collaboration with Brand, Field Marketing Group (TE,CE,ME), Digital, Legal and GIP in establishing clear measures of success for campaign programs and activities needs, and in ensuring excellent execution of our efforts.
- Provide third party activation agencies with clear, strategic, actionable, value-adding feedback and directions/training in order to assist them in developing brand/trade activation ideas/proposals. Oversee the compliance and performance of partner agency in the delivery of agreed services and other related KPI's.
- Manages provided A&P budget according to priorities and business targets. Determines the proper and optimal allocation of budget investments as defined by the activities and/or programs in delivering the campaign objectives in full.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree graduate, preferably of a Marketing / Business / Communications - related courses
- At least 2 years solid experience in Marketing, Trade/Channel Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Brand Activation preferably with solid background from an FMCG company.
- Good communication skills - Oral and Written (English, Filipino)
- Proficient in relevant MS Office Applications
- Project Management
- With supervision and guidance, the incumbent will be prioritizing projects ensuring that each program's objectives are met, within budget and executed based on agreed timeline. This person must be willing to take risks, make assessments and recommends solutions to problems arising from program/s.
- Leadership/Interpersonal Skills
- With coaching and supervision, the incumbent will need the ability to lead peers, superiors and subordinates and function as a strong cross functional team, with a clear vision and mission and a solid drive for results. Effective communication skills is a must.
- Analytics
- Ensure that all necessary data collected from campaign projects are data-based, and lead to insights that clearly establish the impact of the TE activity to the overall campaign. The incumbent must be familiar with the information tools available in order to plan properly and effectively execute the campaign programs.
- Budget Management.
- Takes full responsibility in managing the entire channel or program budget ensuring that money is spent efficiently.
