ServiceNow Development Team Manager
ServiceNow Development Team Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of ServiceNow solutions in one or multiple functional areas (e.g. Marketing & Sales, IT, Global Supply Chain, Finance etc.).
What you will do?
- Lead the ServiceNow solution delivery in your functional area, including business requirements gathering, solution architecture design and/or sign-off, ensure the development best practices are respected throughout the whole delivery lifecycle
- Act as a Single Point of Contact in the ServiceNow team for the assigned functional areas
- Support continuous improvement and expansion of the ServiceNow capabilities to support business objectives
- Effectively lead and develop a team of 10+ members (including internal and outsourced staff), provide clear communication of the vision and priorities for the team
- Responsible for strategic planning for projects delivery, including budget and capacity management
- Play a role of Platform owner and take responsibility for Platform Architecture decisions in a given area of responsibilities
- Continuously review team performance and take necessary actions to improve as needed
- Proactively analyze technology trends and JTI business demand to identify potential business opportunities.
Who are we looking for?
- University, college degree, or education in computer science
- 10+ years of IT working experience, including a solid work experience in multinational companies
- 5+ years of experience in managing major enterprise-scale implementations of IT solutions (preferably ServiceNow), including requirements gathering, development, testing, and cutovers
- 5+ years of experience as a team leader
- Strong experience in managing outsourced service providers and project management
- Strong experience in Platform Governance, DevOps and Agile Delivery
- Ability to establish and maintain the development lifecycle processes, like release strategy, cutover and rehearsal plans, quality gates, testing, data governance, and operational support standards, etc.
- Strong experience in ServiceNow developments, Platform Architecture and integration capabilities will be a big plus
- Good understanding of IT Processes and frameworks like VeriSM, ITIL, IT4IT, COBIT, etc.
- Strong Team leadership capabilities and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to keep strong relationships with key stakeholders, communicate and deliver executive presentations to senior management
- Ability to deliver on time, challenge project managers, and follow-up promptly on any issues and/or risks identified
- Fluent English written and spoken
