Merchandising Solutions & Strategy Specialist
Drives regional merchandising strategy and execution across RMC and RRP, ensuring channel-specific in-store implementation, agency coordination, and budget alignment with broader business strategies.
As the Merchandising Solutions & Strategy Specialist in Marketing, you will:
- Manage Third-Party Merchandising Agency operations for timely and complete program implementation in stores.
- Build efficient merchandising monitoring dashboards and reports from Third Party Agency and Sales that include progressive execution monitoring, materials deployment to sales, utilization report and weekly inventory of POSMs, availability, competitive activities, and price movements. Use these data to craft analyses, recommendations, and action plans.
- Partner with Brand, Procurement, Finance to develop communication materials for various channels.
- Manage assigned merchandising budget allocation for all merchandising-related activities. Ensure timely processing of Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO), and facilitate Good Receipts (GR) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement regional and national merchandising standards in collaboration with the Merchandising Strategy and Solutions Manager and other internal collaborators.
- Recommend timing, ideal distribution level, and installation of brand POSM according to channel cycle drive. Perform regular field and customer visits to understand market trends, channel dynamics, competitor practices, customer and consumer behavior, and evaluate field force execution. Prepare summary reports after those visits highlighting opportunities related to JTI execution and competitor activities.
- Align with actual legislation, company procedures, and working instructions. Follow JTI Policies and J-SOX controls.
- Perform other necessary ad hoc tasks that may arise as part of brand/competitive dynamics in the assigned region
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG or a multinational company in a Marketing or Sales function.
- Proven track record in Trade Activations and in-store execution.
- Strong knowledge of Merchandising, Project Management, Budget Management, and Execution Planning.
- Results-driven with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience with SAP TME is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Work Setup:

- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Hybrid role: 70% office-based, 30% fieldwork.
- Willing to travel up to 6 times per month
