GBS Talent Management and Learning Development Specialist (Japanese Bilingual)

What this position is about - Purpose:

As the Talent and Learning Specialist, you will ensure efficient delivery of services to all stakeholders (entites, regions, employees) in line with agreed Service Level Targets. You are responsible for providing quality and timely end-to-end service addressing employee needs across all P&C areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), namely:

  • maintaining data in all system within the GBS scope
  • preparing documents and certifications
  • preparing reports
  • supporting communication within defined procedures
  • supports and promotes my JTI deployment
  • liaises with the market to make sure GBS processes reflect current GBS process and;
  • updates SOPs to accommodate system and process changes


What will you do - Responsibilities

You are expected to..


1) Ensure efficient delivery of Talent and Learning services to all stakeholders (Entites, Regions, HQ, JTI employees) in line with agreed Service Level Agreements including:


  • Performance and Talent Review  (timely completion and quality of reviews) 
  • Training programs (employee nomination, enrollment and completion follow-up)
  • Mentoring program (nomination, Mentor /Mentee matching, communication, etc..)
  • Assessment administration in accordance with Global Assessment Portfolio
  • Managing accesses and analysing utilisation of JTI Global Digital Learning platforms (Rosetta  Stone, LinkedIn Learning, edX, Gartner, etc.)
  • Mantaining local Learning Catalogues in Success Factors, such as employee enrollment and sessions follow up in the system and;
  • Address TM and L&D related queries, act as internal TM and L&D advisor within their area of responsibility.


2) SOPs and related Documents Updates:


  • Update the related working documents and procedures if case of changes (e.g. update the service catalogue if the service becomes obsolete or a new service is added)
  • Create training document and provide input to on-line learning modules, knowledgebase articles, one pagers, etc.


3) MyJTI support:


  • Provide advisory support to JTI community on how MyJTI should be used, and what is the most appropriate and efficient way to request necessary services from GBS
  • Capture user feedback and address it to MyJTI power users for further system improvements


Who are we looking for - Requirements:

  • University degree holder (BS/MS)
  • 2- 3 years experience in a similar role or any role in a shared services/multinational organization set up
  • Preferrably with hands on experience in Success Factors and/or Mentorcliq
  • Japanese language proficiency
  • Experience in the area of learning and development is a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Other languages would be an asset
  • Profound knowlege of JTI Talent Management process and Learning & Development needs
  • Strong knowledge of Success Factors (Talent Management and Learning and Development modules)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong Customer Service Mindset; understanding cross-cultural sensitivity
  • Lean / 6-Sigma methodology knowledge is a plu
  • Excellent team player, open minded and flexible
  • GBS related certification is a plus (Certified GBS Professionals Program, etc.)
