Employee Experience Specialist

 

The Employee Experience Specialist plays a pivotal role in implementing initiatives that enhance the employee lifecycle experience at GBS Manila. The position focuses on onboarding programs, cultural change initiatives (Our Way), employee engagement, and wellbeing activities, ensuring an employee-centric environment that supports high performance and satisfaction.

 

As the Employee Experience Specialist under the area of People and Culture, you will be doing:

 

  • Onboarding Program Management
    • Design and deliver a structured onboarding journey for new hires, coordinate sessions and events, gather feedback for continuous improvement, and lead the successful deployment of the JTI Basecamp program.
  • Employee Engagement (Survey and Initiatives)
    • Implement and support the annual employee engagement calendar, including townhalls, recognition programs, and social activities, in collaboration with the Content & Engagement Manager. Execute the annual EES, coordinate results presentations and action planning sessions, and collaborate with P&C BPs to ensure purposeful and timely activities.
  • Employee Wellbeing
    • Organize wellbeing activities focused on physical, emotional, and mental health in collaboration with the EHS team and ERGs, coordinate with external vendors, supervise participation, evaluate impact, and ensure purposeful and timely planning with P&C BPs and ERGs.
  • OurWay and Employee Centricity Deployment
    • Coordinate the roll-out of "Our Way" programs through campaigns, workshops, and communications to ensure lasting change, act as a cultural ambassador, and use the "Meaningful Moments" assessment tool to propose action plans as needed.
  • Employer Branding and Certifications
    • Support Certifications process as required by manager.
  • Budget Management
    • Manage budget and expenses for all activities in compliance with P2P policy and JSOX controls, adhere to the budget planning cycle, and engage with third-party vendors for engagement-related support.
  • Other Tasks
    • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, Psychology, or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of experience in employee engagement, HR program execution, or internal communications.
  • Fluent in English and local language (Tagalog).
  • Experience in Employee Engagement, Internal Communications, and HR Admin/Generalist.
  • Understanding of Employee Life Cycle
  • Good communication, presentation and oratorical skills
  • Adept in creating presentations using various applications such as Powerpoint, Canva, and other tools.
  • Advance Excel Skills (Advantage but not required)
  • Strong project management, executional skills and attention to details
  • Creative thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Excellent attention to details
