D&IT Business Solutions Manager - Temporary

 

 

WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?

This role is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of applications within a geographically distributed (virtual) team, driving efficiency and standardization. The manager will ensure third-party providers meet contractual obligations within budget, and lead projects to localize and roll out centralized systems, including planning, data migration, and go-live.

The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and D&IT partners to improve capabilities and align with roadmaps. The manager will also explore technology innovations within JTI and external environments, ensuring adherence to D&IT governance and corporate standards. Additionally, they will oversee the execution of projects and changes, following JTI’s Project Management Framework, standards, and industry best practices.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Capability Management: Collaborate with business to identify and enhance existing solutions; leverage JTI’s global tools and regional solutions to maximize synergies and rapid adoption.
  • Central System Rollout & Market Mile: Learn and assist with the rollout of systems across regions, sharing knowledge and supporting faster deployment in your region.
  • Freedom within a Framework: Utilize low-code tools to deliver simple, short-term capabilities; stay updated on tool functionality and integration for better data transfer and user experience.
  • Service Delivery & Business Continuity: Ensure stable, reliable, and compliant solutions for the business community, managing incidents, problems, and ensuring alignment with internal and external D&IT service providers.
  • Innovation: Collaborate with market teams to explore new trends, challenging business models, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Geographically Distributed Teamwork & Operations: Manage application portfolios, handle incident management and project execution, and assist with regional projects. Lead localization efforts and communicate during crises to ensure business continuity.
  • D&IT Governance: Oversee regional budgets for managed applications, optimize costs, align with corporate standards, and ensure compliance with D&IT policies, reducing technology risks and improving efficiency.

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University Degree in Information Technology or related course
  • 3+ years relevant IT experience, with 1+ year in IT Management/Business Solutions teams (including people management).
  • Seasoned PMO professional with a proven track record in managing IT projects, process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure Data Lake and Data Engineering, including data integration, pipeline development, and analytics solutions to drive business efficiency.
  • Experience in multinational companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes in FMCG industry.
  • Expertise in the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
    • Microsoft Data Lake & Data Warehouse technologies
    • Field Sales Solutions
    • Online Sales, Loyalty, and Payment systems
  • Experience in business requirements analysis, process documentation, and solution design (including Agile methodology).
  • Strong financial and budget management skills.
  • Experience managing medium-to-large scale projects and suppliers.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to think clearly under pressure, prioritize strategically, and act decisively.
  • Creative, innovative, and proactive in driving change.
  • Strong team-oriented and collaborative mindset; able to establish strong connections.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and manage both macro and micro perspectives.
  • Effective communicator at all organizational levels; customer-focused and goal-oriented.
  • This is a Project-based role (1-2 years contract) focused on leading IT-driven process improvement initiatives and managing end-to-end Technology solutions.
