WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
- Responsible for both strategic and operational roles. Strategic terms would include monitoring JTI’s salary, variable pay, allowances, and benefits, and designing, proposing, and implementing improving compensation & benefits plans in order to remain a competitive level of remuneration in the market and in line with the company pay philosophy. Advise, educate, and provides human resource information services/analysis to organization/employees on all compensation & benefits-related issues and topics. The incumbent shall possess commercial awareness of the business operations to anticipate challenges and propose effective solutions. The incumbent fosters collaboration to increase effectiveness between the People & Culture function and the business
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compensation & Benefits Design
- Propose and implement effective compensation and benefits programs driven by competitive industry and market practices, as well as the Company and Human Resources strategies & programs. Ensure relativity of salary management according to Company pay structure.
- Salary Surveys and Market Analysis
- Analyze, study, and conclude findings and make recommendations based on market compensation & benefits surveys, government statistic surveys, total pay competitiveness in the marketplace, and human resource practices of other relevant organizations.
- Pay Line
- Review, propose, and implement pay line and ensure compliance with the company pay philosophy
- Benefits
- Ensure competitive benefit programs and manage them effectively; propose and implement new benefits or improve current benefits that can attract and retain employees.
- Benefits Admin
- Oversee and ensures the processing of benefits is done timely and accurately by supervising and reviewing the work of subordinates. Recommend process improvement in the C&B area.
Retirement Plan-act as the backup secretariat of PnC Business Support Lead for the Retirement Committee, administer/implement the plan.

- Annual Plan/Latest Estimate
- Oversee proposal and submission of salaries and fringe/labor benefit costs for the annual budget and monitor the variances of actual expenditure (OPEX) on salaries and fringes versus the approved budget/plan. Respond to requests for trends, actual accrual compensation, and benefits expenditure.
- International Assignee (IA)
- Oversee IA local requirements and directly coordinates with IA Management Team in the implementation of IA/STA/RA/PA policy.
- P&C Policies and Procedures
- Oversee the updates of HR Policies and Procedures.
- SAP HR
- With LCPMP's role is to manage the annual salary review. Ensure the accuracy of salary data in SAP HR.
- Manage C&B employee communication efforts pertaining to compensation and benefits and liaison with functional managers and heads of departments to obtain feedback and make necessary recommendations for improvement in the area of compensation and benefits.
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Finance, Human Resources or related business degree
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in employee compensation and benefits management in a multinational company and GBS/shared services industry.
- Well-versed in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Intermediate knowledge of Recruitment, Performance Management, Organization Development, Philippine labor code as well as principles of Policies & Procedures creation. Independent with good interpersonal skills, well organized, and able to navigate through various HR areas comfortably.
