Trade CX Acquisition Manager

 

The Trade CX Acquisition Manager plays a key role in driving high‑quality customer acquisition across priority trade segments in the Philippines. This role leads the development and execution of acquisition strategies that are tightly aligned with commercial priorities, Route‑to‑Market (RTM) strategies, and field sales execution.

Working cross‑functionally with Sales, RTM, Marketing, Digital, Finance, and Operations teams, you will help strengthen trade coverage, accelerate onboarding of priority outlets, and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of acquisition channels.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who can translate strategy into field execution and use data to drive impactful decisions.

 

As the Trade CX Acquisition Manager, you will:

 

Drive acquisition strategy and commercial alignment

  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives, volume targets, and trade engagement priorities
  • Translate commercial goals into actionable acquisition plans across channels and customer segments
  • Identify and prioritize high‑potential customer segments, such as high‑volume and high‑footfall outlets
  • Ensure acquisition initiatives support broader trade programs, incentive structures, and performance frameworks

Partner closely with Route‑to‑Market and Sales teams

  • Collaborate with RTM and Sales teams to seamlessly integrate acquisition strategies into field execution plans
  • Align on territory planning, outlet prioritization, and trade coverage optimization
  • Co‑create acquisition playbooks, tools, and guidelines to support TSRs/TWRs in the field
  • Provide data, insights, and performance tracking to help Sales teams improve acquisition outcome

Build and optimize acquisition channels

  • Strengthen and scale acquisition channels, including field sales, digital platforms, and partner ecosystems
  • Identify gaps in the current RTM model and propose new channel opportunities to expand reach
  • Drive onboarding strategies that improve activation rates and early engagement of newly acquired customers
  • Continuously optimize channel mix based on performance, cost efficiency, and scalability

Manage performance through data and analytics

  • Track and analyze acquisition performance, including conversion rates, activation rates, cost per acquisition, and channel ROI
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor progress and identify improvement opportunities
  • Use data‑driven insights to refine acquisition strategies and improve overall effectiveness
  • Work closely with Finance and Planning teams to align on targets, budgets, and performance reporting

Collaborate across functions

  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, Finance, Operations, and other key teams to ensure seamless execution of acquisition initiatives
  • Coordinate with IT and Digital teams to improve onboarding journeys and reduce friction in acquisition processes
  • Support governance, compliance, and process alignment across all acquisition activities

 


Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 5–8 years of experience in commercial, sales, trade marketing, or related rolesProven experience in customer acquisition, channel development, or RTM strategy
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, distribution models, and trade engagement
  • Experience working closely with field sales teams and managing cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Background in FMCG, telco, fintech, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage
  • Exposure to digital platforms, CRM systems, or trade engagement tools
  • Experience working in incentive‑based or performance‑driven environments

Skills & competencies:

  • Strong commercial acumen – able to link acquisition efforts to revenue, volume, and business growth
  • Channel strategy & development – experience building and scaling acquisition channels
  • Stakeholder management – able to collaborate effectively across Sales, RTM, and cross‑functional teams
  • Data‑driven mindset – comfortable translating data into actionable insights
  • Execution excellence – able to turn strategy into effective field execution
  • Problem‑solving and agility – adapts quickly in a dynamic, fast‑moving market
