Employer Branding Specialist (Temporary)

 

This role helps strengthen the Employer Brand of JTI GBS Manila by supporting talent attraction initiatives, shaping and localizing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and creating accessible, high-quality creative assets for both internal and external audiences. It contributes to building positive awareness and a competitive employer reputation, while helping attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and encouraging meaningful referrals from employees.


In addition, the role leads the design and rollout of the GBS Manila Management Trainee (Graduate) Program—covering the program structure, faculty partners, rotation design, school and community partnerships, inclusive selection criteria, and recruitment process.

 

As the Employer Branding Specialist in the area of Employee Experience, you will be doing the following:

 

1.) Employer Branding Strategy and Execution: You will b e responsible for designing and delivering a holistic, through‑the‑line, and candidate‑centric Employer Brand strategy by localizing global direction into meaningful initiatives for GBS Manila, ensuring alignment with the JTI EVP and embedding the employer brand across the full talent journey. Your role involves producing accessible and engaging creative assets for social media, job posts, campus materials, and internal content; supporting the planning and execution of EB activation campaigns tailored to GBS Manila talents; and tracking key indicators such as reach, engagement, applications, and quality‑of‑hire measures. Your role also focuses on building positive and inclusive employer brand awareness—measured through attractiveness, candidate quality and volume, and employee referrals—while collaborating closely with the Content & Engagement Manager, CA&C, Diversity & Inclusion, and the Talent Attraction team to ensure aligned, consistent, and inclusive messaging across all channels.

 

2.) Content Production and Activation: You will identify the right mix of channels to meet Employer Branding KPIs, with a strong focus on maximizing social networks to meaningfully showcase life and career opportunities at GBS Manila. It includes producing engaging and inclusive content, managing day‑to‑day EB requests—from visuals and videos to event materials—and coordinating closely with internal teams and external creative partners to ensure smooth execution. You will also be responsible in upholding global brand equity, positioning, and guidelines while thoughtfully adapting them to the local culture and environment, ensuring that all communications resonate authentically with diverse audiences.

 

3.) Graduate Program Design and Launch: You will also be responsible for designing the GBS Manila Management Trainee Program by developing an inclusive and well‑structured curriculum, mapping meaningful rotations and placements, and selecting faculty and mentors who can support diverse learning needs. It includes establishing success measures and strong program governance, building partnerships with universities and relevant organizations across the Philippines, and creating fair and transparent screening frameworks and selection criteria for aspiring applicants. You will work closely with the Talent Attraction team on recruitment activities, sourcing strategies, and participation in events to ensure a smooth and engaging end‑to‑end experience for all candidates.

 

4.) Talent Attraction Partnerships: You will also manage relationships with schools and partner organizations, ensuring strong and inclusive engagement across various academic and community groups. You will represent GBS Manila in career fairs, campus events, and student activities, coordinating participation to create a welcoming and informative experience for all audiences. In addition, you will support the development of presentations, kits, and digital materials that help bring GBS Manila’s story to life and strengthen our presence during external activations.

 

5.) Internal Engagement and Employee Ambassador Support: Your will work closely with P&C Business Partners, Employee Experience, Learning & Development, and Communications teams to engage and empower internal ambassadors who can authentically represent GBS Manila. You will support storytelling initiatives that highlight diverse employee experiences and showcase the culture of the organization, while also encouraging employees to create and share content that aligns with Employer Branding guidelines in a respectful and inclusive way.

 

6.) Project and Administrative Support: Your role will also be responsible for managing the budget for all Employer Branding and Graduate Program activities, ensuring an optimal and responsible allocation of investments, full compliance with Finance policies, and accurate planning within established deadlines. This involves quantifying and monitoring KPIs, continuously refining activation strategies, and maintaining up‑to‑date trackers, timelines, and documentation for all deliverables. Your role is also to safeguard the adherence to procurement processes, creative usage rights, and data privacy requirements while providing support for ad hoc People & Culture projects whenever needed.

 

Who are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Employer Branding, Talent Attraction, Campus Recruitment, Marketing/Communications, or related roles in the Philippines
  • Experience producing creative content (static, video, social media campaigns)
  • Experience working with agencies, freelancers, or creative teams
  • Experience supporting or designing early-career or graduate programs is a strong advantage
  • Strong written and verbal English; Filipino proficiency preferred for school partnerships and content relevance
  • Employer branding and digital marketing fundamentals
  • Content production (social media, creative assets, storytelling)
  • Project management and stakeholder coordination
  • Knowledge of Philippine campus landscape and student/Gen Z insights
  • Familiarity with HR processes and recruitment practices is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) preferred
  • Data tracking and reporting (campaign performance, engagement metrics)
