Employee Life Cycle (ELC) Specialist - Temporary
Ensure efficient delivery of Employee Life Cycle services to stakeholders (entities, regions, employees) in line with agreed Service Level Targets. Provide timely, accurate end-to-end People & Culture support within Global Business Services scope, following standard operating procedures. Maintain data, prepare employee documents and reports, and support employee communications within defined procedures. Support and promote MyJTI adoption by guiding requestors on the most effective way to raise service requests. Keep SOPs and working documents up to date, documenting new processes and changes as needed.
As the ELC Specialist in GBS Manila, you will be responsible for:
- Receive and respond to Employee Life Cycle inquiries and requests with timely, accurate, and professional support
- Process tickets in MyJTI (ServiceNow) in line with SOPs and service level targets
- Validate requests, employee data templates, and supporting documentation using established checklists
- Maintain employee data and lifecycle events in HR and payroll systems within GBS scope, following corporate and local guidelines
- Create and maintain organisational structure data in SAP HR and other systems in scope
- Prepare contracts, letters, certificates, and confirmations using approved templates
- Notify relevant parties of employee data changes in line with process requirements
- Support employee access and enrolment activities (e.g., T&E tools, corporate card provisioning, benefits enrolment, ESPP enrolment and updates)
- Prepare and distribute employee communications for recurring P&C processes (e.g., annual personal data validation, tax-related submissions) within defined procedures
- Update SOPs, working instructions, and supporting documents when processes or systems change
- Advise and guide employees and managers on how to use MyJTI and how to request services from GBS efficiently
- Capture user feedback and escalate improvement opportunities to MyJTI power users and relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- One to two years of experience in a multinational organisation in a similar role
- Hands-on SAP HR experience preferred
- Experience in an administrative role is an advantage
- Fluent written and spoken English (Additional languages are an advantage)
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes and service delivery
- Good understanding of organisational management principles
- Understanding of payroll needs and statutory reporting requirements is a plus
- SAP CRM knowledge highly preferred
- Strong customer service mindset
- Strong team player; open-minded and flexible
- GBS-related certification is a plus (e.g., Certified GBS Professionals Program)
- Working knowledge of Winshuttle and basic image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Paint) is a plus
