What this role is about?
On-Site IT I&O Scandinavia Manager is a head of sub-cluster inside ONSITE IT I&O Austria, Baltics, Scandinavia organization.
In this role you’ll be primarily responsible for the management of Market / Factories / Leaf on-site IT I&O operations in Scandinavia, ensuring the delivery of all services dedicated to support of on-site users and provision of the infrastructure for running JTI business, such as on-site technical infrastructure maintenance, end user operational support, distribution of all IT equipment and network on-site support, as well as the delivery of required service levels as measured by objective KPIs and dashboards, following the established JTI IT policies and strategic directions. Regional On-site IT I&O operations are effective, efficient, adhere to the budget for the on-site IT I&O and strategic vendors.
This position also supports On-Site IT I&O Austria, Baltics and Scandinavia Cluster Lead in identification of the technical infrastructure & end-user computing requirements for market/factory/leaf business operations by cooperating with respective Regional, Markets, Factories, Leaf origins IT Leads to advise the IT Infrastructure and Operations Pillar for the required systems / solutions. The On-Site IT I&O Scandinavia Manager is accountable for managing the implementation and execution of all required global & local infrastructure systems, providing end-user computing services in incumbents' region locations.
What will you do?
- Work as a partner with respective Cluster/Entity IT Leads to fully understand technical requirements of regions’ business plans & priorities
- Liaise with respective Cluster/Entity IT Leads, Corporate IT pillars and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on the technical platforms/solutions required/scheduled for the locations
- Act as single and most senior point of escalation for the management of IT technical related issues and/or topics within the respective IT I&O Sub-Cluster
- Ensure technical solutions meet requirements of the business and IT, are cost effective, in alignment with IT strategy and the technology stack, implemented in accordance with Operating Guidelines and JTI P&P, and delivered according to plans; Provide visibility to respective Onsite IT I&O Cluster Lead where deviations occur
- Act as single and most senior point of escalation for the management of IT technical related issues and/or topics in a sub-cluster
- Management of the Onsite IT I&O budget for a sub-cluster (in technical areas) and within each reporting Market/Factory/Leaf onsite IT I&O sub-team. Responsible for effective planning of the AP/SP and LE processes, of delivering on commitments, and of managing and reporting with clarity how the regional budget is used to run existing services, the cost of transformation/change and efficiencies gained by changes. Optimize, control, and reduce costs, when possible, to improve costs/resource efficiencies and profitability within the regions
- Being accountable for regularly review of IT service delivery performance vis-à-vis standards and best practices, leveraging the IT performance management platforms for a sub-cluster, ensure appropriate coordination and communication with respective Clusters/Markets/Factories/Leaf origins to gain meaningful and actionable insights to improve service quality and performance efficiency
- Ensure regular maintenance of IT infrastructure in a sub-cluster to minimize business disruption and the timely communication of system changes to the respective Regions/Cluster/Entity IT teams for facilitating user readiness to adopt the changes
- Ensure a consistent application of computer controls that support financial audit requirements
What are we looking for?
- University Degree in Computer or Technical Science or strong IT background
- 5-7+ years of IT management (including people management) with more than 7 years of overall experience in IT discipline. Preferred background would be in multinational companies
- Knowledge of business and related processes in FMCG industry would be a huge asset
- High level of communication and negotiation skills
- Highly effective in a geographically distributed global environment. Cultural awareness with ability to prioritize on specific areas within region
- Proven people management skills; Strong ability to leverage resources and skills across a dynamic, cross-location environment, to maximize value and develop people, and to pull together a multicultural, virtual team
