Cyber Security Vulnerability Manager

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT – PURPOSE
The Security Operations Center has ambitious goals to provide preventative protection to reduce the company attack surface. The Security Operations Manager should leverage innovative approaches to respond to threats. Some of the responsibilities in this area include, but are not limited: 
- vulnerability scanning and scan results analysis, 
- organizing and lead remediation process with Global IT operational teams, 
- monitoring for trends and researching new threats,  anticipate demand, 
- the global delivery of Vulnerability Management service, and process management,
- create, maintain, and monitor key operational metrics to measure service effectiveness.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Provide Vulnerability Management service including:
1. Regular and urgent Patch Management in line with JTI Corporate procedures;
2. Manage vulnerability assessment tools, scope and Vulnerability Scan schedule;
3. Collect results and process Vulnerability report, identify relevant threats and provide corrective action recommendation;
4. Prioritize vulnerabilities and required remediation;
5. Organize and manage remediation via Change Management and manage tracking and remediation by leveraging agreed-upon action plan and timelines with responsible technical teams.

•    Report service results of Vulnerability management to Security Operations Center team lead:
- scan and remediation results
- IT Governance metrics and KPIs
- Design and deliver actionable dashboards.

•    Develop and manage: 
- Policies and Procedures related to Vulnerability Management and Patching processes;
- integration interfaces and process automation;
- the technical roadmap for the Vulnerability Management Service.

•    Monitor Security Industry trends on new threats. Develop JTI current and forward-looking threat profile and recommendations for baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications, and networking equipment.

•    Collaborate with Security Operations and Technical Security centers and provide analysis in relevant Technical and Security Incidents or Operational changes. Support Security assesments follow-up and recommendations.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
•    University degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related field or relevant experience
•    Fluent English written and spoken.
•    2-3 years Vulnerability Management experience (from scanning to remediation) and in Security Incident Response. Excellent working knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools (primarily Tenable Security Center or Nessus)
•    Strong analytical skills.
