Accounting Associate
In this role you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, monthly expense reports and preparation of payment proposals.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
• Make sure that accounting documents contain the legally required details and are compliant with internal company policy.
• Check if proof of performance is available for purchase invoices for goods and services.
• Book purchase invoices and monitor payables to vendors.
• Book expense reports, monitor payable balances to company employees.
• Prepare payment proposals, upload bank payments (automatic and manual) and book bank statements.
• Support the regular reporting to National Revenue Agency and Customs, as well as the annual audit of the company, through preparation of necessary reports.
• Prepare quarterly reports related to suppliers data and their invoices as part of corporate reporting.
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
• University degree, Accounting diploma. Master’s degree represents an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience. Experience in Accounting within FMCG industry represents an advantage
• Good knowledge of English language
• MS Office proficiency
• Good knowledge of Bulgarian legislation (Corporate income tax, VAT, Excise)
• Solid knowledge of Bulgarian and International accounting standards
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks under pressure
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
