Costing Manager - Shebeen El-Kom, Banha 

 

Department: Global Supply Chain (GSC) - Finance
Location: Shebeen El-Kom

Role: Permanent; please be advised this role will require frequent travel between factories in Shebeen El-Kom, and 6th October for 2-3 days on a quarterly basis, and for 3-5 days on an annual basis. 

 

Purpose of the Role:

The Costing Manager position is responsible for the overall accounting and costing functions, including audit, compliance, and taxes under various laws and regulations of JTI while ensuring full compliance with all company policies and procedures and statutory requirements. Ensure proper control over capital and operating expenditure evaluation, reporting, and disbursement. Ensures necessary participation, and support in the company’s planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles. Ensure proper safeguarding of the company’s assets through adherence to the existing and implementation of new procedures. Provide necessary assistance to internal and external auditors of the company in carrying out their duties as required by the company standards and regulations. Secure confidential information related to the company’s activities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Global Supply Chain (GSC) Actual closing process is done in coordination with all related GSC functions including HQ Finance, PPO, and Market finance, and perform all analysis, checks, variance explanations, and consolidation related to Actual activities for all factories. Attend and lead quarterly inventory physical counts. Strict control in product cost through strong reporting and trend actual analysis.   
  • Be sure that all required submissions via systems are done according to the internal and global deadline. Make all other month-end closing entries and share them with Accounting Team to be submitted on Trial Balance.
  • Actively participate in the Planning cycle to prepare all related templates/slides, roadmaps. Flow up and monitoring Free cash flow within the operation process.
  • Review inventory movements and prepare all require and need analyses related to actual performance and the driver of the variance. Closely follow up and plan inventory consumption and inventory balance with related departments to seek opportunities for cost-saving.
  • Contribute to achieve the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems, and ensure compliance with code of conduct, legal & other requirements.

 

Skills & Experience: 

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related study. CPA/CMA or another relevant accounting qualification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a management position in a multinational company.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and ERP prefer SAP, Knowledge of local statutory requirements; Planning methodology; Bills of materials, production. Free cash flow processes and KPIs, economic indicators; Knowledge of currency control regulations; Understanding of local accounting and taxation. Company Policies and Procedures.
