BTS M&S Emerging Markets Analyst Manager 

Based in St. Petersburg, Russia


The main purpose of the position is to support, define and coordinate current JTI M&S Emerging Markets priorities, and their future path to TME Connect. Collect and assess Market business requirements, propose solutions within our IT M&S portfolio and Program Management role for each of the impacted Regions (mainly APAC, MeNeAt and Americas).


The person will be responsible for:

  • Creation, establishment and adoption of the different IT M&S processes and procedures which will facilitate and accelerate, in a cost-efficient approach, Emerging Markets adoptions of M&S solutions aligned with our JTI Global IT standards. The position holder will be the point of contact to support Emerging Markets in BI (business intelligence) initiatives related to M&S Solutions.
  • Being a liaison between IT and Emerging Markets Business Sales & Trade Marketing function in JTI regions and corporate, becoming and coordinating IT corporate supply chain (BTS, GTC, GDC, Security, Finance, Communication, Procurement, and Enterprise Portfolio Mgt) to deliver their specific initiatives on time and budget agreed plans. Guarantee IT Governance on Marketing & Sales related matters and proper communication and alignment of IT strategy with the business.
  • Support the formalization of IT M&S and M&S BI support model, including service providers, for Emerging Markets with clear split of Market vs Corporate roles and responsibilities.
  • Work hand-by-hand in an aligned strategy with IT M&S TME Connect DSD / DSO module team in order to have a single plan and leverage existing or newly strategic assets.


Main requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science or strong IT technical background
  • 5 years of working experience with Business Intelligence solutions, Sales and Marketing IT Business Applications, with focus in Direct Sales Distribution and Direct Sales Operating processes
  • Fluent English
  • Hands-on experience with the following products and technologies:
  • Business Intelligence Solutions (Oracle, Microsoft BI, SQL certificates others)
  • CRM or SFA suites (Siebel / SalesForce / SAP CRM / Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to connect easily and efficiently with the members of the international virtual IT teams and Markets
  • The ability of creative thinking and taking ownership
