Rewards Associate
Position purpose:
The role exists to support compensation and benefits processes while ensuring compliance with local legislation, market practice and the company's guidelines. This position is located in our head office in Raleigh, NC.
What will you do – responsibilities:
Budgets:
Provide manpower cost analysis, wages, and fringe information in line with Company planning guidelines, extract, analyze, and build budget templates using various SAP AdHoc reports to ensure provided data is most updated and accurate, partner with Finance department on the budget preparation task and serve as main point of contact for all budgeting inquiries.
Benefits Administration:
Initiate and conduct annual review of benefits carriers for all USA entities, ensure benefit programs are in line with market practices, are competitive and in compliance with statutory and federal requirements, manage benefits administration and open enrollments, coordinate and process benefit enrollments for Qualifying Life Events, support various benefit plans (STD, LTD, COBRA, termination of coverage, etc.), prepare and conduct benefit trainings, follow benefit related legislation updates, create benefit related communications, initiate employee benefits satisfaction surveys to ensure best quality service is provided to employees, support ESPP enrollment process, and oversee Worker's Compensation claim submission process.
Compensation:
Prepare compensation scenarios for all new hires and promotions, ensure proposals are in line with the Company's C&B approach and are approved by Management according to deadlines, support payline creation, position evaluation, annual bonus, and annual salary review processes.
Leave Management:
Consult employees on available leave benefits, manage all types of leaves, i.e. STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA, state leaves if applicable, discretionary leave, and JTI Family Leave, liaison with benefit carrier regarding leave-required documentation, approve return to work dates upon completion of leave, ensure leaves are provided in line with current legislation and internal company guidelines, administer COVID related practices: employee communications, testings, vaccination requests, sick leaves, etc.
C&B Surveys:
Participate in Korn Ferry, Hays Group's and Mercer's salary surveys to ensure JTI receives market salary benchmarking annually, and support in analysis of results once they become readily available.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- 4 year BA/BS Degree;
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Benefits Administration;
- 401K knowledge & administration experience is a plus;
- Experience in People & Culture projects management;
- SAP HR experience preferred (HR database administration, AdHoc reporting);
- Advanced Excel.
