Digital Strategy Manager

 

About the Role 

The Digital Strategy Manager supports the Digital & Innovation Strategy Manager and wider marketing team with the strategic management of the JTI Brands Digital Ecosystems and the development and implementation of digital consumer marketing initiatives. The incumbent is also responsible for platform capabilities enhancements, optimizing consumer journeys and digital activation & offers management on JTI consumer websites.

 

 

What you will do

  • Digital Ecosystem: Lead enhancements of the digital ecosystem, including platform capabilities and consumer journeys, to drive consumer engagement and conversion. Develop and implement strategies to optimize consumer journeys across digital platforms, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Omni-channel Consumer Activation: In charge of planning, developing, implementing and managing omni-channel consumer activation initiatives in line with JTI USA and brand objectives involving portfolio developments and structuring communication plans for retail and digital across available touchpoints; aligning and engaging JTI USA and global teams;
  • Digital Activation at Retail through Mobile Coupon expansion across Indy and Chain channels in collaboration with the trade marketing and sales teams; pilot and expand Retailer Specific Coupons (chains) and other relevant digital couponing programs. Support Key Account team with EDLP activation: design innovative programs collaborating cross-functionally with the objective to drive consumer trial & conversion;
  • Consumer Digital Activation: develop consumer centric digital activation campaigns and initiatives in line with brand objectives working collaboratively with portfolio managers, creative agencies and developers. In charge of strategy and project management from idea to implementation;
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including portfolio managers, trade marketing, sales, customer service, legal, corporate affairs and IT;
  • Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 

 

 

Who We Are Looking For

dynamic, passionate, and result-oriented person, with:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or related field;
  • 4-7 years of experience in consumer and trade marketing. Experience across both, retail and digital marketing preferred;
  • Fluent English;
  • Must have both, strong strategic capabilities as well as ability to be hands-on and manage tactical execution;
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to navigate projects within a complex organizational structure and communicate with stakeholders across functions;
  • Ability to analyze data and formulate data driven decisions to optimize product performance;
  • Experienced in activating brands in both, a retail and online enviornment;
  • Adept at identifying problems, analyzing information, and coming up with creative solutions;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel;
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Knowledge of web and UX design.
