Product Owner and Service Manager


We are looking for a highly skilled Product Owner and Service Manager to join our GBS Global Performance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating requirements definition prior to development cycle, driving quality and adherence to the specification, to be a transformation agent on all stages: diagnosis of the opportunity; design of new ways of working; planning and project management; realization support.

You will play a role of the solution owner for MyRequest in GBS landscape (MyRequest, Query Tool, etc,) to ensure those are integral and sustainable within the lifecycle and ensure transition of those to modern technologies when required, with taking over the ownership for replacements, if applicable.

Main areas of responsibility:


  • Responsible for business side of maintenance and development of MyRequest tool  in order to enable full accessibility and business continuity.
  • Participates in the requirements definition prior to development cycle, influencing it to drive quality and adherence to the specification. Contributes to make clear, concise and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Responsible for transformation  on all stages: diagnosis of the opportunity; design of new ways of working; planning and project management; realization support.
  • Accountable for preparation of decommission of the tool and providing guidance to other stakeholders in order to ensure smooth transition from MyRequest to other business applications.
  • Works with businesses and IT to proactively identify, prioritize, facilitate and lead MyRequest tool improvement initiatives.
  • Acts as a coordination point for the Global Process Owners and other functional owners for aspects of Service Management.
  • Signs off requirements and assign priorities.
  • Tests and sign off the delivered solution.


You as a professional:


  • At least 7 years of experience in GBS organization in area of Business tool management.
  • Experience in driving development and maintenance of the tools based on VBA  to maximize its efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in process analysis and mapping, workflow construction, tools frontend and backend management.
  • Extensive understanding of processes in transactional areas in Finance and Accounting (preferably with a deep expertise in business analyst with VBA knowledge).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of VBA coding and dependencies.
  • General knowledge and principals understanding of ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with understanding ITIL Service Management practices.
  • Fluent English.
