Junior Sales Data Specialist

Location: Prague

Full time, Fixed Term


Our Sales Digital solutions team is hiring a new TME Sales Data Specialist. As a data specialist, you will be responsible for regular external data load into the TME system (WHS sales data, KA sales data, Selected retail sales data, 1-2-1 data, Nielsen data, Tracker data) + integration of data from other JTI internal systems (sales statistics from SAP, etc.).

Day-to-day maintenance and administration of operating environment (TME & SSIS - SQL Server Integration Services - a platform to build data integration and workflow applications; a tool for data extraction, transformation, and loading), data Processing & merge different data sources.

Main areas of responsibilities

  • Preparation and transformation of data from external sources i.e (wholesale, customers, agencies)
  • Creation and editing of reports in MS PowerBi and MS Excel
  • Administration of CRM database – inserting customers, products, data proof, and check
  • Support and the main point of contact for reporting on business data
  • Continual management of best practices to ensure that these fit the market situation and are deployed accordingly. Management of localization, usage, and execution process and ongoing tool training (preparation & delivery). Holds the responsibility for Customer database, Trade Segmentation process, and end-user training.
  • Maintainance of changes and requirements gathering and testing during new releases TME UAT (User Acceptance Testing) periods. Participation in new BI and data warehouse projects within the CzHuSk cluster.



What are we looking for?

You as a professional:

  • Have strong analytical and communication skills in both the Czech and the English language combined with solid interpersonal skills
  • Basic Knowledge of Excel, Power BI (pivot tables, data import, external data management)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and knowledge of principles of the relational database model is an advantage


  • Knowledge and experience in reporting applications such as Oracle BI, MS PowerBI, and others is a plus
  • So is an experience with ETL tools and VBA


  • A University degree in business, marketing, economics, and/or social sciences Education in Quantitative Methods in Business is a plus.
