To assist in developing, collecting and managing market intelligence data and to provide reporting, analysis and insights that are consumer centric, actionable and value added to support effective and efficient business planning and decision making. This position is also responsible for managing market research projects and using findings to translate into actionable insights.



  • Take ownership in commissioning research project and ensures methodologies are effective in delivering robust and actionable insights:
    • Ability to transform business questions into research/survey and propose different methodologies and sampling.
    • Demonstrated strong knowledge of market research tools and techniques, analysis, problem solving and strategic planning.
    • Ensure research agencies operates to the highest standard in accordance to compliance
    • Ability to manage across multiple agencies for different research.
    • Ability to present relevant insights and providing key summary information to Marketing and Sales
  • Manage reporting, insights/strategic market information and analysis with business implications/recommendations to support effective and efficient business decisions.
  • Monitor constantly competitive activities in order to highlight competitive strategies and identify potential risks or opportunities that could arise in order to take prompt actions.
  • Foster a learning and knowledge sharing culture within Marketing and Sales to keep the team updated with trends related to industry, competitors, consumers and retail environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to work with people at all levels of the organization and with a wide range of technically and culturally diverse people influencing them to get things done, and delivering value-added, high-quality business results within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel around Phnom Penh & provinces for market and fieldwork observations.




  • University degree in Economics or another relevant field to Research
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of working experience, preferably in tobacco and market research or has exposed to both research agency and client side
  • Minimum 2 years of extensive working experience, leading research projects with different agencies
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Good knowledge of analysis software
  • Proficiency with MS Office, specifically in Excel and Power Point
