WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

Raw Materials Supply Planning, Placement & Inbound Logistics

(Main stakeholders: Marketing & Sales, Regional functions, factories)

Responsible for monthly planning cycles to ensure placements of raw materials are calculated & executed in a timely, sufficient and accurate manner to accommodate market demands & business sensitivities, yet at optimium lotsize & costs. Main scopes include:

  • Obtain from Sales thorough understanding of Market's demands including business scenarios and sensitivites, from Marketing timely updates of product portfolio requirements, from Factories updates of inventories across locations
  • Analyze the gaps between demands vs. supply capacities and facilitate solutions/ action plans throughout the supply chain processes
  • Support and supervise the placement of raw materials (executed by regional designated functions) as per market's instructions.
  • Support Marketing in multiple projects such as new launch, product / packaging rejuvenation; looking for creative ways tominimize  out of stock and wrte-offs.
  • Continuously liaise with Logistics & related functions to ensure on-time arrival of raw matetials for production (e.g. re-prioritize shipments or cancellation of orders if required by unexpected market needs)
  • Ensure business opportunities and/or pontetial issues are identified and appropriately escalated to stakeholders, preferably with recommended solutions.

 

Primary and Finished Goods Production Planning & Outbound Logistics
(Main stakeholders: Marketing & Sales, Regional functions, Factories)

Responsible for the monthly production planning of Semi-FG and FGs across 2 factories, to ensure safety inventory levels are maintained at factory & distributor warehouses yet in balance with stock freshness and minimised write-offs.
Main scope include:

  • Given the inputs of market demands (product variants, quantities, timing), calculate and communicate monthly Semi-/ FGs production plans to factories, liaise with internal & external stakeholders to ensure sufficient materials are in place for required production.
  • Continuously monitor inventory and production status, making adjustments or cancellation if critically required by business (e.g. sales execution exceeding plan, ad-hoc machine break-down, etc.)

 

Inventory Management

  • Weekly reviews of safety stocks across factory and distributor warehouses, monthly assessment of FG freshness and propose actions where necessary.
  • Monhtly / regular reviews of raw materials inventory safety level and expiry dates, timely identify potentially issues preferably with a recommended solution to reflecting into upcoming supply & production plans

 

Other Tasks

  • Lead and/or support reocurring related tasks such as: monthly estimate reports of purchases, AR, inventory and DIO; monthly system loading of sale volumes; annual order lot-size & implications; (bi-)annual importation quota forecast, etc.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Supply Chain & Logistic Manager, including but not limited to: depletion scenarios / write-off estimates for product discontinution, optimizing NTM capacity for new launches yet in balance with write-off exposure, VMC optimization, etc.
  • Support Supply Chain related projects initiated by Region and HQ.

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably with Finance / Supply Chain focus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Planning / Finance, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • A stong numerical aptitude, excel advancement, scenario modelling
  • Business acumen & commercial mindset
  • MS Office (Excel advancement is a must)
  • Understanding of product charisteristics (training to be provided)
  • Be initiative & pro-active to foresee & identify potential issues, advise & recommend solutions
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving, strategic thinking ("seeing big picture") and "make it happen" attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner that enable effective discussion and decision-making by stakeholders.
