Business: senior stakeholder management

  • Act as a main contact for appropriate responsibility area on the Market for all D&IT service regardless of which partner team is accountable for the delivery. 
  • Actively engaging with business stakeholders and D&IT partners to explore capability improvements or to ensure clear understanding of new capabilities requirements. Drive demand process to deliver new solutions as planned in the roadmaps.
  • Improve business performance of appropriate area by focusing on value over solutions. Emphasize value when developing ideas, evaluating risk, and evolving needs that support business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Actively review technology successes in JTI and external environment, bringing to the attention of Business partners to explore the innovation within the team’s remit.  

IT: strategic portfolio management

  • Responsible for full lifecycle of all team portfolio of applications, drive its standardization and efficiency
  • Leads and manages identified changes & projects, and on occasions related teams, to ensure they are executed successfully. The incumbent will at all time work in accordance with JTI’s Project Management Framework, and established D&IT standards, policies and procedures, J-Sox controls, and industry best practices.
  • Responsible for budget that supports appropriate stream roadmap, ensuring that the costs top Run and build IT is easily explained and that spend is in line with plan.

Team: people development, vendor management

  • Lead your team of experts to become self-managing, so that they take ownership of their portfolio of applications & their KPI’s. Re-enforce JTI D&IT technology standard and processes to help the team deliver effectively and efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring that 3rd-party solution providers & external resources fulfil agreed-upon commitments and contractual obligations within budgeted costs.



  • 3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant)
  • Background of employment experience in multinational companies. Good working knowledge of business and related processes in FMCG industry
  • Fluent oral and written English
  • Experience in at least 2 of the following new technology trends:
       *Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate)
       *Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse technologies
       *Field Sales Solutions 
       *Online Sales, Loyalty and payment systems

  • Business requirements analysis & process documentation 

  • Solutions design proposal and architecture (business applications and D&IT infrastructure), including but not limited to application design methodology (including Agile methodology), interface design, capacity planning, scalability

  • Good financial and budgetary understanding 

  • Project management (medium to large scale projects)

  • Leading  by example; Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and is able to diffuse project-related conflict

  • Ability to think clearly and act decisively in crisis situations; thinking and acting with a sense of urgency and clear understanding of priorities and strategic importance; highly organized

  • Creativity, thinking outside the box, challenging status quo

  • Ability to work with ambiguity and “connect the dots”

  • Team-orientation, collaboration; ability to network and establish good connections

  • Proactivity; drive to learn and keep pace with business and technology trends
