PLANNING ASSOCIATE

What this position is about - Purpose:

The position will be a member of the Manufacturing Services team and will be in charge of the following activities: Manage inventories and ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules. Analyze and prepare production orders needed for production. Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectations. Complete status reports for production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory. Data analysis and decision-making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand

 

What will you do – Responsibilities:

 

  • Review FG - Packaging materials stocks on a daily basis
  • Maintain company inventory, and minimize both overstock and out-of-stock occurrences.
  • Analyze the supply, demand, and forecast.
  • Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
  • Determine the required materials and generate purchase orders taking in consideration lot size.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc.
  • Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
  • Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
  • Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation
  • Create a production schedule and prioritizes job orders for production optimization
  • Coordinate production workflow for our products.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • Schedule shifts according to production needs.
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and all other stakeholders.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders on key initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of market needs with the highest level of customer service.
  • Effectively participate in timely delivering the commitment of the planning department towards local, regional & global functions and at a very high level of accuracy.
  • Creating reports showing YTD results and Historical data.
  • Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required.
  • Interact with shop floor management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or additional information as requested from Manufacturing, Customer Service and Accounting.
  • Contribute to achieving the factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS, Energy & Quality management systems, and ensure compliance with code of conduct, legal & other requirements

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Engineering,  Computer & information science, Business Administration, or any other related
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, FMCG SC environment is preferable..
  • MS Office, English language
  •  Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
