Credit & Revenue Associate - Head Office - Mississauga

 

 

The Credit & Revenue Associate will be an integral member of the Credit and Revenue team. The incumbent will be monitoring the collectability of receivables of existing customers, assessing credit risk and of potential and existing customers as well as establishing their credit limits and terms.

The individual will be reviewing and releasing orders that are on hold & will work with Sales, Tax & GBS colleagues to ensure accurate reporting of receivables & related taxes. The individual will be  responsible for the periodic review of Price & Taxes on sales invoices as well as complete yearly credit reviews of all customers to determine appropriate credit limit allocations. The individual will also support with SAP test cases and operational improvement initiatives as required.

 

Position: 
 

As a Credit & Revenue Associate, you will:

  • Assess credit risk & viability of potential & existing customers as well as establish credit limits & terms. Complete the annual review of customers & perform relevant JSOX controls;
  • Collaborate with the company’s order desk on order management & billing matters inline JTI policies & Monitor sale orders releases from hold in compliance with JTI policies;
  • Review of customer information such as tobacco licenses, Direct debit & banking information and prepare credit reports as needed;
  • Liaise with tax department to ensure tax rates are updated in SAP promptly as well as collaborate with sales team on JTI Direct to improve AR performance, & minimize bad debt;
  • Participate in SAP test cases, as well as Submit and monitor change requests & perform review of customer information, product marking, pricing & excise conditions etc. on SAP;
  • Liaise with GBS Manila to submit related MyJTI tickets, resolve any billing or customer account issues, monitor the status of collection & issuance of credit notes for unsellable products & respond to customer queries & overview of dunning process for over dues.

    
Requirements: 

 

  • Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting;
  • 3 to 5 years related business experience with a company of a similar size;
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel & SAP;
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
